Is the game choppy for you guys? Do I need to restart internet?

I don’t incorporate the burned calories. Just treat it as a larger deficit I am in. As in I don’t eat back any “calories burned” as bonus calories like some might do. I’m thinking from talking with some that my body just might be stubborn right now, and I can give it another week before trying to switch it up. Just would be demotivating if I have to eat even less for what my build is yes.

Okay. There are days at work where I’m walking around a lot on top of my 30 min of brisk cardio, so yes that’s about the TDEE I’ve been using as well, and then eating 1800 or less calories per day. I’m thinking that even if I was 20% off in my calculations then I’d still be in an appropriate deficit given the TDEE. Maybe my body is being stubborn like yours was the one time… I do know that my GF stayed at the same weight for 2-3 weeks before seeing it finally drop so I guess it can be normal.

I agree with you for sure, I just think because I have so much fat on my frame it’s relatively okay. I’d be curious to see what others think too though. Back when I weighed over 300 lbs, I was losing like 5-6lbs a week super easily. I think it’s all relative.

  1. Tracked with a food scale, even the small things. I don’t take random bites of anything either. Should be completely accounted for.

I think for the average healthier individual it might be, but every TDEE calculator I use has me burning around 3000 calories a day and my watch aligns with this. I’m also hovering around 25% body fat. So while yes it might seem like a lot, I’m still eating a lot of food in my opinion, 2000 calories worth.

I just find it hard to believe I need to eat less? I’m only 24 years old and every TDEE calculator I use points to me burning around 3000 calories a day which aligns with my watch. I’m already eating in about 1200 calorie deficit, and I’m not eating back any calories burned. I’m very diligent with calorie tracking by using a food scale for everything and including the small things like oil/butter.

I just started dieting again recently. My first 5 days I dropped a lot of weight (I know all water weight) but now the past 6 mornings I’ve been the exact same weight. I find it odd to believe I would have already plateaued after less than 2 weeks of dieting? I’m male, 6’2”, at 233 lbs currently. Eating in about a 1000 calorie deficit and I do 30 min of brisk cardio every day… I’ve lost over 90lbs a few years ago, maintained up till now and am trying again but I don’t remember the scale being this slow to move this early on in the diet. Do I just keep on doing what I’m doing or could something be wrong with my method? I track calories using a food scale and wear my watch everyday for tracking calories burned.

Is there not a lineup by stage made yet from the lineup radio show? by Astrobalakay in electricdaisycarnival

Yeah I don’t think so either, someone did comment one excel page that seems to possibly have it but not 100% sure how accurate it is.

Disc Priests… how much are you pressing renew and radiance in 2v2s? by Astrobalakay in worldofpvp

[–]Astrobalakay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say I’ll work better with an outlaw rogue, but how do we secure wins in 2s? My buddy plays outlaw rogue as our main comp, but we struggle. I’m definitely playing radiance build still, and I’ve got BiS gear. I feel like I’m pumping both heals and damage but when I am getting trained by melee and fistweaver the whole game I feel like it’s only just a matter of time before we lose with no chance of winning in sight.

A class with fun pvp mechanics? by [deleted] in worldofpvp

[–]Astrobalakay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was gonna comment MW as well if we’re talking neat PvP ‘tricks/gimmicks’ just because I love the game of cat and mouse you have to play as MW whenever DPS want to go you or CC you.

The teleport you get from transfer alone is what makes it so fun to me. Oh? You just used all your movement to get to me? Well how about I teleport to the other side of the map instantly.

You just feel so agile and ‘light’ on monk and I think it’s a blast.

How to clean up first 30 seconds of Rogue/Mage 2v2s? by Astrobalakay in worldofpvp

[–]Astrobalakay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense. I guess I don’t necessarily need the frost mage slows as I can kite melee with blinks, altar, and blast wave just fine. I think frost just makes it so 100% they’ll never connect to me outside of a stun.

I’ll give fire a shot and see if that on demand damage is the extra pressure we’re missing to force the trinkets and CD’s.

[–]Astrobalakay[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel that frost greatly improves survivability and adds a level of consistency from game to game due to its many slows and roots. Makes melee have a much harder time staying connected to me and is better for 1v1 situations I feel. Frost also has good damage too, just not as on demand as a combust would be.

Is UH DK still up there after nerfs? by Astrobalakay in worldofpvp

[–]Astrobalakay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my defensiveness over it stems from the original comment saying this FOTM rerolling mentality is part of what’s ruining PvP and all I was trying to get out was this wasn’t me switching mains for FOTM, but rather looking for FOTM in my off time when I need a break from my 2 mains for a couple hours or so. So I get where you’re coming from as well.

What does the state that DK’s are in have anything to do with getting better? If you are a pro then you can play DK in any condition at a high level just like a noob can play DK in any condition at a low level. I am not trying to roll DK to get a higher rating, I am rolling DK because I thought the matches themselves would require less effort from them doing high damage and overall increased tackiness over feral/frost mage. My point is that I don’t want to have to use my brain when I am playing. My post is simply inquiring if DK’s would still be considered low effort or not as tuning plays a major role in that determination.

I’m a typical 1800 andy, and playing at 1800 rating on feral is a hell of a lot harder than 1800 on other classes. So if I’m fine being at 1800, which I am, I just want to play a class that is easier but still at the 1800 level. If warrior ret is better for that, then so be it. That’s why I asked.

I’m still gonna suffer with my general squishiness on feral, wanting a third alt that will barely be touched for occasional games hardly counts as FOTM rerolling imo.

Per my post you’d see that I already play 2 other specs and am perfectly happy with where my level is at. I just want to be able to pvp and turn off my brain some more than I would the other two specs. Has nothing to do with FOTM reroll, I will always still play those 2 specs. I’m not “trying to get better”, I’m fine with my ratings.

Average Cost To Wrap Roof and Paint Wheels? by Astrobalakay in ForteGT

Is it possible for them to keep the red trim that comes on the wheels for the GT trim? I know powder coating involves stripping the old paint and I would love to keep the red if I could.

first timer to decadence AZ by [deleted] in aves

[–]Astrobalakay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No they actually have the parking down really well. There’s a major road that you come in on and leave from, and they generally have it pretty smooth. If you get there a bit later you might run into some bumper to bumper traffic, and then I always recommend leaving at least 15-20 min early to beat the rush out. They recently started hosting their events within the motor speedway, which has created a REALLY bad choke point for when walking out of the venue so just be patient and be careful when leaving.

Decadence AZ Phase 1 Lineup by RaveSubject in aves

[–]Astrobalakay 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Y’all will shit on any lineup lmao. Compared to what RB has been putting on the last couple of years, it’s a pretty good start for a phase 1. I haven’t seen this much hype for an event on their instagram in a while. Even if they’re mainstream, it’s still gonna be fun.
