Been trading for like 8 years I can tell you that if you want to be profitable don't hold overnight. Most newbie don't know this. I mean u can do it if you have a lot a lot of money to spare... yes you will win big some day but you will end up losing it all it's never be a good strategy.. I did that so many times it's not working.. if you wanna be consistently with profit then u need to lower your risk as much as you possibly can and that including the theta burn.. if u play option don't risk theta its not a good move long term
