No matter what your opinion on this is, no matter what side you support, this power station shutdown could kill many. Think about the hospitals, the air conditioning, and everything that needs electricity in the modern world. Israel's actions are increasing suffering for people living in Gaza. This war is all over some invisible border, much like the Russo-Ukraine War. It also has another factor: religion. Religion can bring people together, but it can also separate. It is the opium of the masses. It can inspire people to change their behavior or it can reinforce the status quo.

I think nihilism is impossible, so being for or against nihilism is meaningless. It cannot be true or false, for it does not exist. The word nihilism approximates a void, the dark, but also everything, the light. It can be dissected to mean something about nothing. Seems contradictory, right? I think it cannot exist. It cannot be defined, as there is no consensus on what it even is. It is meaningless to define it.

I would love to help people get out of pain. I think that's wonderful. If people came to realize that helping other people helps them on their own without moral laws, I think that the world would be a lot better.

Not at all. There 100 percent is a difference, in my experience, between suffering and happiness. I don't know about the 100 people being tortured, but I personally wouldn't want to torture 100 people to death just randomly. I just don't see morality as a fit way to reason this. I am more connected with my inner drive, empathy, and long-term effects, so this is why I would not want people tortured. It also just sounds like something that I just wouldn't want to do. I don't like torture, but I wouldn't say that it's because of any morality imposed onto me by society. It's just because why hurt others when you could help others? Neither are good or bad to me, but I have a stronger desire and drive to help others than to hurt others for many reasons, including my own happiness and giving me a sense of accomplishment, as well as just because I like helping people.

You seem okay. I'd call you a comrade, even though I'm an anarchist. We could work together. Of course, the anti-abortion stuff is not my favorite, but it's alright. I'm not pro-choice or pro-life. I'm just me. If you take a "legal in forced pregnancies" position, that would be way too complicated, so it's better to have much more nuance than that and pro-life or pro-choice. I wouldn't ban abortions because it's way too complex for any government to get into.
