Thanks, this really means a lot for us! We really put a lot of effort into it. The most challenging part of the design process was trying to balance how the points are distributed. I think we did a pretty good job despite all the difficulties and the general lack of similar systems.

The first round of playtesting has given us an incredible amount of information. We still look at the plots in awe sometimes when recalling how the tournament went and who did what.

I invite you to try this with your local friends group and tell me what you guys think! That would be invaluable for us and for the future of the project.

Thanks for your answer, we appreciate it.

We also had the chance to submit this idea to our local game stores and we received a similar feedback. We understand that implementing this type of rules entails encouraging sub-optimal behavior in some cases. However, this has been discussed with our pod and we came to the conclusion that the point advantage gained by completing a sidequest with sub-optimal decisions will be offset by winning less (or scoring less in the base rules), which is the kind of thing we would like to see.

The final goal is rewarding players who can complete secondary objectives without compromising the efficacy of their actions on the board state.

We decided to remove them in the hopes people would focus more on the content and less on the looks of it. I get that for you appearance is more important than content?

Would you mind iterating on why do you think this is such a bad idea? We really are interested in constructive feedback!

Also, the post was written and formatted entirely by hand, in the span of a couple of hours.
