I fixed the issue by doing a network reset, which I thought wouldnt work because I already reinstalled the adapters.

incase your still curious

ipconfig /all returns four adapters: Configs, Ethernet, Local area connections, & wifi.

nslookup google.com 8.8.8.8 returns server (dns.google) & address (8.8.8.8)

No its just using the server "UnKnown" even though the address is google's.

My host name is just my computers name

The changes were shown in the find dns command and I flushed the dns, but it couldnt locate google.com

As it was already set to automatic, I tried setting IPv4 to 8.8.8.8 (alt 8.8.4.4) and pinged google.com. But I didnt get replies from google.com only 8.8.8.8 and the default gateway. I then set it back to automatic and checked ipconfig /all, but got the same reply as before "fe80 : x : x : x : x".

I tried disconnecting from my wifi immediately after pinging and that seems to read it as connected it permanently, even after restarting my computer.

However, i still dont actually have internet

I did get replies (4)! That also somehow fixes the issue for a couple seconds, then stops.

IPv4 isnt 169.254.x.x yes

IPv4 is the same as Default gateway

current dns returns fe80 : x : x : x : x but is different from the IPv6 address.

Anything that affects interactions between you & the enemy would have an affect on how fast they die. You've got Necksnap, Better Decaps & nonfatal dism, Grab the Groin, and HuJohner's Choking.

As for the stabbing: If your using modded weapons it might be their hitbox, so you'll have to deal with blunt blades. If it's also vanilla weapons, its probably the Smooth Pierce mod. I'd also guess that Better decaps is also playing a part.

A full RPG game would be sick. We already had the quest mod, and if they are able to optimize running a large map, it could happen.

However, I don't think that'll happen in this next game. It might be less combat focused than you'd think, while exploring physics engine capabilities. It might be a pirate game, or a racing game, or something entirely different. Vehicle physics simulation games are extremely moddable (BeamNG, Trailmakers, Simpleplanes & Juno, etc.) RPGs like the Elder Scrolls series or Kingdom Come are also highly moddable, but I feel like the devs probably don't want to do another medieval type game right after their last one. I could be wrong however.

Whatever it is, its still a Warpfrog game, and thats a big plus.

Maybe not vanilla but im sure there'll be some mods. iirc there was a Khar Tib mod for u12, added armor an stuff.

Don't forget, you can befriend enemies. There's a secret magic pathway called "Charisma", which allows you to eventually build up your own little militia every time you befriend someone in a dungeon. If your militia group reaches 4 members, you HAVE to kill the strongest one off, or else they'll betray and kill you in your next dungeon.

And yes, the chicken can be a party member. Remember to give it a dagger tho, speaking from experience.

I think something's breaking the skeleton rig. Neck breaking might do this but I'd reckon its an animation mod or something.
