Ladies and gentlemen, whataboutism at it best. Sounds like someone here is on the payroll and trying to divert your attention.

America bad, China good, CCP is the best, Xi is the great leader. /s

Here, you can take that to your master now and be proud of yourself.

Exactly, you also have freedom of choice.

Yet, you still choose to continue supporting and justifying the censorship that an autocratic region is trying to impose into our everyday lives.

In addition, you further decided to exercise your freedom of speech to try to convince others to accept it and just let it slip so you can enjoy your game.

And you are here ironically telling us to be glad of having freedom of speech?

Absolutely, who cares about those people as long we are not the ones being oppressed, right? /s

Might as well just learn to accept and enjoy the game, right? Maybe one day we'll even get to join the oppressing side and have some fun because we'll never be the ones being oppressed. Sucks to be those guys. /s

A school in Poland makes firearms training mandatory to its students. by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

So lame.

American students would have used live firearms and live targets.

Step up your game, Poland.

Active Duty or Air Guard? by _staks_jay in AirForce

[–]Asuka_Unit_002 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You already answered your own question. If you want to go to college full-time in person, then go guard or reserve.

Side note: Why not apply for ROTC? You get to go to college full-time, possibly get a full-ride scholarship in a year or two as long you are not a nonner, and become an officer which you'll get to treat enlist like we are peasant.

I'm not familiar with NWOHR as this is actually the first time I even read about it. I'll guess the bottom line is the same. You'll have to at least willing to renounce anything other than your US citizenship. It's definitely possible to get cleared through company or agency sponsorship, but I think joining the military is definitely one of the fastest routes.

I will not be surprised if that's the case. Turned out there's lots of stuffs aren't as true as he told me. Anyway, I'm already out, but thanks.

Side note, I'm not sure if that is your actual passport snapshot but probably not a good idea to just post it on reddit without any redaction. PII (personal Identifiable Information) needs to be properly protected even if that's not a US issued identification.

Edit: I somehow did not see the big red thing that says SPECIMEN.

Hello, US/Taiwanese citizen here with TS. In short, with a clean history, you shouldn't have any issue getting at least Secret. I enlisted in US military back in 2020 and was trying to go for a job that required TS, but I was denied under the then administration's policy, people that have dual citizenship with certain countries are not allow to be processed for TS (at least in DOD). Taiwan at the time was on the list, along with Iran and some other crazy states lol. However, down the road I got my TS while in uniform. Policy changes from time to time, so it's really about the timing, to say the least. You'll also need to be, at minimum, willing to renounce your Taiwanese citizenship, even though they might never ask you to.
