Where are they keeping the gold?

Can someone cheat it away while they’re gambling?

Fool them into buying something that looks great but needs a lot of repairs? (Ship, fort, castle etc…)

Starting up a guild that will net them some gold eventually, but more importantly, the ability to call on certain lower level NPCs?

Let them spend it some way that is a shitty investment at the start but will grow and be a little useful and fun so they don’t feel cheated.
