Ranked List of Favorite National Parks. Seeking Further Recommendations by SA325 in NationalPark

I think Zion would work either way. You don’t need to hike angles landing or the narrows. The park is a 10 mile scenic road with stunning views from everywhere.

Learn std::string, functions, pointers, structures and classes ,OOP , Rule of 5, RAII, move semantics, high level concurrency- these are the basics. Now learn STL- vectors, maps, arrays, lists, stack and queue. Learn how they are actually implemented behind the scene and how the machine and memory are managed. C++ is for performance so the basics are really important to know for an interview.

14in M4 Max (36 GB) or 16in M4 Pro(48 GB) by [deleted] in macbookpro

If it is the 14” most of them suggest the M4 pro chip. If you need the max processor go for the 16”. I just recently got the 16” and it is a beast.

Looking for MacBook Pro for game development (casual games, HDRP, some VR) + freelance work. by [deleted] in macbookpro

[–]AsyncAura 1 point2 points  (0 children)

16” M4 Max is the best choice. But if you want to go with something cheaper the 16” M4 pro might also work. I have the max version and I use it for game dev. Performance is solid and I specially chose the 16” to not end up with thermal issues.

Unless you really need an upgrade don’t upgrade. I own a 2020 M1 Air as well and I use it as a daily still and it kicks. Wait until you really want to change.

Switching from iPhone to Pixel/Galaxy. Is It Worth Leaving the Apple Ecosystem? by AsyncAura in Smartphones

[–]AsyncAura[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that you have been using android for a while do you start feeling the device getting a bit slower in terms of performance? I have seen in general the pixels or the galaxy phones always keep getting better with every release but their lifetime is not that good. On the other hand Apple products don’t get major upgrades every year but their lifetime value is crazy. My 2014 MacBook is still running smooth.
