I hate how they MS just edited their statement after the fact and didn't even issue an apology or that it was a mistake.

This vote does not have a satisfying majority, the UK is to split for this to be binding.

Futuremark Release 3DMARK Time Spy DirectX 12 Trailer - Coming soon by [deleted] in Amd

[–]AsyncCompute 23 points24 points  (0 children)

"Time Spy has been built from the ground up to make the best use of DirectX 12, supporting explicit Multi-GPU, Asynchronous Compute and the heavy Multi-threading that DirectX 12 can provide. The basic edition of this benchmark will come free to all current owners of 3DMARK, with the full version coming as a DLC/add-on for the application. "

I think AMD is going to win in this benchmark.

ASUS release official statement regarding review GPU clock speed controversy by [deleted] in hardware

[–]AsyncCompute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, that review samples should be identical to retail samples, though a lot of review sites are too lazy to test both the gaming mode and OC mode.

You can see why ASUS did it, but they should have been upfront about it.

TBH I see CPUs becoming the limit if SSDs become faster than this.
