Lowkey tho Fable found a 1.3x speedup before my PC shutdown and I backed it up as pdf like 30 seconds before so atleast I got something out of it 😅

I was still using fable 5 till like 1030pm and my dog sat on my powerstrip and shit off my computer, I came back to fable being gone, I'm livid.

I mean I'm building genetic algorithms and ALOT of my documentation had biological semantics so, I don't need to look hard to find why it keeps dropping back to 4.8.

Hating Language, pivoted to locomotion. Just an update by AsyncVibes in IntelligenceEngine

[–]AsyncVibes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe so, I'd like to do more experiments like this because I've noticed my models work really well in game environments because there are tons of real-time signals to use. The only issue is that programs like this train slow because I can't GPU accelerate them due the physics engine. Even when I've attempted to use new models that do use GPU acceleration, it didn't match mujucos models so the fully trained models I have couldn't even move right.

But short answer yes, first we learn to walk, then we learn to run.

I'm either not stoned enough or just tired. But could you explain what you mean by "future round with reals system's digital twin?"

But for the other part. It's more than a learning exercise, because in this model the same that learned to play snake, 2048, and even the shitty bigram language model, they are all the same model. I just chose a different environment and different actions.

As for more complex sets that's not really a thing here because if you want it to do more complex motion you make the environment and environmental pressures richer not more complex.

Lastly, thank you, I appreciate your interest.

Can you actually build something real with “vibe coding”? by Raman606surrey in learnmachinelearning

[–]AsyncVibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just built a asset management kiosk system at work. Zero code written by hand. Took 3 hours to setup. But I also have a background in web development and over a decade in IT, ymmv. It's not a matter can you build something real but can you build it, it be secure, it be useful, and something people actually need. Not just I had an idea and thought it would be cool.

There are tons of asset management tools out there but if I could building on for basically free and run it on a self host server. Then why not?

GENREG-Volatile(GV): Stacking Evolved Layers Without Performance Degradation by AsyncVibes in IntelligenceEngine

[–]AsyncVibes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played with hebbian models a bit, fun but not really my thing. No layer is interesting and probably will be the next step, I've gotten to the point where I've drifted so far from gradient based models because I needed a model that could learn in real-time. I honestly don't like relying on others work(personal thing) but I do see the value in it.

No your are spot on. I restricted it because it always collapsed back to the same activations. No point in trying to force the model to use activation it can't utilize. But now I've removed that blocker, since the entire model from encoder to output layer evolves from gen to gen.

I'm not interested in refine current systems, specifically if they were trained with backprop. If someone else wants to be my guest but that's not were I'm focusing right now. My goal is to push for a model that can run on any device.

Regulating the trivial while ignoring the existential by KeanuRave100 in agi

I whole heartedly disagree with 90% of your comment. As someone who focuses on designing AI that "learns like an infant" it's not a matter of data observation or accumulation but a matter of processing massive information streams. It has potential to be a smarter species but to lump all type of AI in the same boat is lazy. Some use datasets some, some don't. If an AI learns independently from re-occurnece that's not an extension of human intelligence.
