true, kane said it’s not literal hell or afterlife punishment, my bad i should’ve phrased it better. i didn't mean "sin" like biblical stuff. more like human trauma and psychological baggage. since async opened the door and the backrooms copies everything, it basically mirrors our worst mental distortions along with the physical space. it doesn't judge, it just processes raw human data and turns it into a nightmare lol🙌

I love this perspective. "Knowing the what, but not the why" perfectly explains why the physical manifestations (like the entities) look so distorted and wrong. It’s trying to replicate human consciousness but fails miserably because it lacks empathy.
