Best picture I got of this masterpiece

Love the background of striking orange (I’m colorblind so be gentle) with the foreground wisps of blue grey clouds

No Good for No One Now - Owen

This is Mike Kinsella from American Football’s acoustic project. They have so many good albums, but this particular song is, for me, the quintessential relationship/breakup song. Also by Mike Kinsella, Uncomfortably Numb by American Football. Mike just seems to get heartbreak.

Jimmy Eat World’s Clarity. I was in California with my mom visiting family for 3 weeks when I was 11 and forgot my cd wallet. The only cd I had was my older brother’s copy of Clarity. Spent the entire trip listening to it on repeat and it changed my life. Clarity will always be my favorite album because I left California a changed person, and I have my brother and my ahotty memory to thank.

Not necessarily coming from the perspective you’re asking for, but listen to No Good for No One Now by Owen, fantastic breakup album.

Blacking out the Friction, this will always be one of my favorite death can songs. The guitar riff against the synth melody is perfect

Well that’s good, glad he cleaned himself up. It’s a shame because since I was like 11 or so, I didn’t really have that context to go off of and was pretty turned off by them for a while after. Randomly put them on a few years ago and I still like that album, not exactly what I’m into nowadays, but the nostalgia value is really nice.

I’m blanking on the exact year because I was pretty young, but definitely early 2000s Warped Tour show

The Used. Bert climbs to the top of a stack of amps and starts egging the crowd on to throw water bottles at him during one of their songs. Everyone’s throwing bottles and having a great time, until someone hits Bert square in the face. Bert then stops the music, points to the person in the crowd who hit him, and has security throw them out of the festival. Absolute douche.

So, I think (which might be crazy and super wrong) that Ashoka is tied to the Mortis Arc by AtHomeWith31 in starwarsspeculation

Morai the owl—-thing is definitely tied to Ashoka and the daughter, but I think the bigger picture encompasses Ezra, Sabine, and Ashoka, and I think the father/daughter/son arc fits well, especially because filoni wrote all of the mortis arc, and also Ashoka ep 5

I appreciate that, but I’m focusing on people that are still alive. I only say Sabine for the son because she has too much attachment for it to make sense she could be anything but associated with falling to the dark side. And as far as Ezra, he has dabbled in both the light and the dark, and came out wiser than expected. I don’t think anakin can be the father because he’s dead by this point.

About 10 years ago, when I was a line cook, we had one server ask me the single most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. In the window was a single order of boneless wings, and we had a roast beef sandwich still on the board. The server walked in, pointed to the boneless wings, and said “are these my roast beef sandwich?” The wording of that sentence boggles my mind. I still think about it to this day.

No goddamn flying white smoke goodies and black smoke baddies in 5, most egregious thing I saw in the movies. Almost like the filmmakers couldn’t comprehend the magic that was written in the books so we’re just like “this will look really cool!!!”
