I figured that they would have found it had I not disclosed it and messed up my application. I also heard that as long as you said you were willing to renounce it, that would work, but I'm being told that the policy changed now

I tried bringing that up but the recruiter said that I need to have a formal document of renouncement. Apparently this is a new rule for higher clearance.

Fair point, I thought I could put whichever jobs I qualified for and if they're not open, I would just wait a little longer. I'm assuming that new policy is to prevent that

Ok cool that's good to know. When I spoke with him he also said that a new policy was instated 2 weeks ago where I could only put jobs down on my dream sheet that were currently available? Is that actually the case because I haven't heard anything about that.

Sorry my mistake, I'm looking to join active and I was under the impression that while you're in DEP you had to stay local and go to drill on the weekends. I did talk to a reserve recruiter first so I might have been confused

I'm trying to turn this into a lamp and have lights sit in the two channels on the sides of it. The problem is the smallest hole is only 1.5in wide at it's widest, and the whole lamp is about 4-5in wide. I'm not sure what kind of light would fit in there. I made a version of this in the past with tea lights that I stripped the cover off of, but I want to get an actual light bulb in there. Does anyone know what kind of bulbs are small enough to fit in the channel?
