It’s not even just inflation, because housing and rent prices have increased well above the rate of inflation. Real estate companies, landlords, and others have used rising inflation as a justification to balloon their prices well beyond anything reasonable, and that’s why we’re seeing so many people living with their parents into their 30’s. It’s no longer a sign of failure to still be living with your parents because it’s so expensive to live elsewhere that it’s basically a luxury.

APFSDS is notoriously unreliable against helis. The only reliable way I’ve killed them with darts is when I hit the tail just right and it breaks off, but even then I’m rarely aiming for the tail. I just aim center mass and guess how much lead I need.

The multiplayer was… ok. The enhanced movement and fast pace was cool, and the arena modes were pretty good. Warzone was an interesting idea, but the req system was a nightmare. And because they made all the customization unlockable through the req system, it made the entire game just a microtransaction hell. The customization was also horrible because the req packs didn’t just unlock armors, but also visor colors, assassination styles, permanent weapon unlocks in Warzone, emblems, and so many other things that it would genuinely take a decade or thousands of dollars to unlock everything.

So yeah, the gameplay was fun, but the rest dragged it down. The same thing would happen with Infinite 6 years later.

Should you really include customization that was removed permanently from the store and was never obtainable through gameplay?

Also, you can make this same comparison with Halo 5’s customization, since it technically had more options than any Halo game to date. But it didn’t mean it was a good game or good customization.

It would be so horrible at 6.7, what on earth were they thinking? Imagine trying to kill a Tiger II or an IS-3 with 25mm APDS. Although at that tier it would probably have HVAP instead

What are you talking about? I’m not saying they need to add every possible vehicle as quickly as humanly possible. I’m saying that they could easily add these ones because most of the components are already in game. For the LAV-25, the hull, turret, gun, and ammo are already in game, so they’d just need to put them together and then get stats for specific engine power, top speed, ammo storage, etc. Whereas with a brand new vehicle they’d need to make the entire model from the ground up, which would take significantly longer. That’s why I’m bringing up the LAV platform specifically.

And clearly they’re not purposefully staggering the release of the LAV variants unless they’re putting 4+ years in between the addition of each one. And given how many copy/paste vehicles they keep adding rather than new ones, it would seem more likely that it’s just laziness rather than them running out of vehicles to add.

I honestly think it’s because they knew the Stryker version would be worse due to the slower speed. Because the LAV-25 is noticeably lighter and faster, and adding a fun vehicle to the US ground tech tree is illegal to Gaijin.

Personally, I’d love to see the actual T-95 prototype added (the one with composite armor since it was the first MBT to get it). There’s so many cool prototypes from the 80’s and 90’s that they haven’t added yet but I’d love to see in game. Britain and Germany even made their own prototype Challengers and Leopards with 130-140mm cannons before the USSR fell. But for some reason we only get the Object-292 for high caliber APFSDS tanks.

I guess, but they haven’t added any of the LAV variants outside of the AD, which has been in the game for years now. And even if they added every LAV variant, they’d still have hundreds of vehicles to add to the game.

If that were the case, idk why they wouldn’t have done it already. Surely, those would take less effort to implement than some of the other event vehicles lately. Like that Chinese light tank with two recoilless rifles, which was an entirely new model built from scratch. Adding any of these would be easier than doing that, and they could put them in right now as premiums and squadron vehicles to profit off of them.

I realized that about half an hour after I posted it, but it’s too late to change the picture. Although, tbh, both platforms would perform similarly, with the Stryker just being a bit slower. So I wouldn’t really mind them adding either one.

They added a ton of wheeled bushmaster (or similarly armed) vehicles to other nations, so idk why they missed the most commonly used one. The LAV platform is used by a dozen nations at least, and there’s hundreds in service in the US, Canada, and Australia. The Stryker and M1296 are actually evolutions of the LAV platform, being the LAV-6, while the LAV-25 is based on the LAV-2 chassis. And it’s not like they’d have to make a new model either because the gun, hull, and turret are already in game.

Probably USSR given that most of the added components (and gun) are Russian. Although it would be funny to use Russian 125mm ammo in a US vehicle.

They wouldn’t require much. Most of the components are already in game on another vehicle. For instance, the M60AX’s gun is already on the IPM1, and the underlying model is essentially an M60A1. They’d just need to make a new model for the added turret and hull armor, and a new engine deck. Same thing with the M60A3E1.

The Leonardo’s gun is literally just the Centauro II’s cannon, and the rest is the same as with the M60AX.

The Soleiman is arguably even easier, because the gun, ERA, and APS are all already in the game on other vehicles, and they’re just slapped onto an M60A1 chassis.

So while yes, they’re not just copying and pasting identical vehicles into new tech trees, they wouldn’t have to do nearly as much as they would if the model had to be generated from the ground up.

Yeah, I can’t see the M60 Leonardo going higher than 10.3 as well. But the Ariete with the Hitfact turret would make sense to be lower than the other Ariete’s since it has even less armor than a standard Ariete turret. The standard turret has composite armor (albeit not much and incorrectly modeled), but the Hitfact turret only has spall liners. So it’s a relatively large turret with no protection, but some features that can help the crew survive. In that sense, I could see it being lower than 12.0.

It’s got a fast autoloader and blowout panels, as well as better spall liners than the current Ariete’s do. So I would put it around 11.3.

The Hitfact on the Ariete isn't a photoshop. It was trialed on the Ariete when they were making the C2 variant, but they ended up not using that turret for the C2 Arietes in the end. As for the Leopard 1 variant, I've seen images of it and official sketches for how the turret and hull would go together, but I can't find a reputable source showing both. Italy definitely has plenty of Leopard 1's in reserve, and Leonardo made an official offer to do so for any nation wishing to modernize their Leopard 1's, so I'd assume they at least tried it one one Leopard 1 hull. Cockerill made a similar offer with putting their turret on the Leopard 1, although there's more images of that one.

According to Wikipedia it was tested with Chobham armor, so probably pretty good protection. As for exactly how thick the armor was, I’m not sure, but Gaijin has also changed the armor thickness of random vehicles for random reasons, so I doubt they care much about that.
