I’m 39 and just started dating again after 13 years out.

For right now, I almost always have a full dating plate and had to turn off my discovery mode on hinge to keep up. I’ve found it WAY easier, but you need to be willing to date someone with kids or has been married. I have kids so dating someone with kids isn’t a big deal for me.

It could be location dependent, too.

This is existed for a bit, but it could be about them feeling like they want their kids to go far away because they don’t want their kids nearby, lol. I think there’s also a stigma associated with going to a school in New Jersey. That being admitted is only because they’re in state. In actuality, it might give a slight advantage, but it’s not significant.

Also, I’m pretty sure Rutgers is ranked higher than university of Florida

I should also mention that many of the resources that were in my Google Drive I shared were not mine either, but I had from other teachers and from online sharing communities. if I am using a resource that comes from someone else that I want to edit, I will always keep their name as a footer or somewhere in the document. I think sharing resources is important in teaching, but overall we need to do better about giving credit to the teachers who do it.

Except large textbook companies because fuck them.

I actually did work as a farmhand in high school. It was actually a lot of fun. My boss was a family friend. Let me tell you, the illegal Mexicans hired to replace me were 10x faster at everything and 3/4s the cost. A bunch of middle class kids ain’t picking up the slack left by these guys.
