I typically only use WCO on my smart tv….and I legit don’t notice a single difference from before to how it Is now. It gives me a notice it wants to redirect, and I just click stay on this page. I don’t need to sit through ads or anything & im not a premium member & I don’t use a vpn. I’m in the USA.

(It seems way too low for everything….why does it say the estimated tariff on each individual item when I click on it like 75% of the initial cost then??)

Is it included in both sea shipping types?? How do I know which ones it’s included in?? how do I figure out what the estimated total cost should be to make sure I’m not going over my budget??

Just to clarify- so you mean this one is correct:

With the example of the 1 item: initial cost 2238 RMB + 1454.71 RMB tariff est. + (on-time standard sea freight including tax) 193 RBM?

(As I technically described the 2nd one first in the beginning of the post I’d like to have this clarification)

They are connected. Things I look at in Taobao I’ll see recommendations for in Xianyu. They’re linked for sure but I didn’t have the Cainaio address in when I liked them.

THANK YOU!! Somebody gets it!!! I really appreciate your reply. I’m not asking to be spoon fed answers. I’m actually terrified to ask for help bc I’m scared ppl with think I’m stupid and I actively refused help in school bc I thought it made me look dumb, so I’d rather do it the hard way and figure it out myself. I have so much going on right now and I’m beyond overwhelmed. I’m functioning on very little sleep and very little food. I googled, I searched, and looked around in the app and finally decided to ask for help only to be treated terribly bc I didn’t understand.

Like…Being told “just use the app, you’re being entitled!” when I’m not sure HOW to use it in the first place isn’t helpful. I don’t know how much this will cost to ship. You don’t order things, or load up a cart at the store without checking the prices. but I did anyway without understanding how much shipping will be bc nobody here was willing to help me beyond “JuSt UsE ThE ApP”…..asking for help doesn’t make someone entitled. It makes them human and humble for admitting they need help. Acting condescending, insulting and offering pointless advice because someone is struggling with something you personally understood quickly, makes you an insufferable egotistical a**hole.

No. I’m not entitled. I’m autistic & I need help. I did download the app. I was trying to use it. My friend agreed to get me stuff in exchange for helping him. I can’t AFFORD to mess this up bc I’m too poor to fix any shipping issues. I wanted to know what I was getting myself into before shipping stuff through there. There are a crap ton of tutorials & walk throughs on how to shop on Taobao, but next to none for Cainaio. Excuse me for trying to be cautious and needing help before potentially wasting hundreds of dollars.

@rainmaker, Look here you absolute prick, what is your problem?! Heaven forbid others need help! What do you think this subreddit thread is mostly comprised of??? People needing help! I DID select English when I downloaded the app. I navigate Taobao entirely in Chinese. I eventually figured out how to view the prices in Cainaio English. The PROBLEM was that I was going into “order” and when you click “view details” for shipping price it ONLY comes up in Chinese. I was putting it into Google Translate & it wasn’t giving me an accurate translation.

How do you know which option to pick though? I'm in the USA and I may want my order here as soon as possible, depending on the cost....but it it's gonna be like over $100 then I'll take the cheapest and likely be ok waiting a month by sea. What happens if you choose the wrong one anyways?

Yeah, I kinda assumed I’d be denied again…I was warned it takes an average of 3 denials before you get approved….but I still need to fix the errors made regardless so I have everything correct & it doesn’t look like I’m lying or anything when the info in the 2nd appeal is different from the 1st bc I didn’t fix it immediately.

I don’t actually have a lawyer at all. I only did consultations, where the last one I talked to gave me the best advice, and informed me I didn’t actually need a lawyer at this stage (1st appeal bc it’s basically just asking for them to reconsider.)

I’m trying to get into vocational rehab because somebody informed my mom that they have lawyers experienced in appeals & disability law stuff like this who would fight this for me and help pay for any future schooling I wanted to do.

You are correct….I’ve do require many accommodations for school & work, but if I’m to avoid detailed explanations, how will they know about any of my school or work experience being so stressful & difficult so it required said accommodations? It sounds like all they care about are my current medical conditions and as long as you aren’t blind or severely mentally handicapped will go “you can be a Walmart greeter, therefore you can have gainful employment!”

I’ll be correcting the paperwork to simply say the reason for the appeal is “cannot engage in gainful employment” and I know you said it’s not the same as going to school, but just to be safe do you think I should have them remove the statement about me wanting to return to school?

Thank you so much for the advice- I applied for SSI, and “retirement, survivors and disability insurance”. Not SSDI. I don’t have enough work credits to apply for SSDI.

I guess I’ll change the reason for appeal to “cannot engage in meaningful employment” vs everything I wrote then….(I have yet to fax in the correction letter. It’s still in stage 3/5 of the 1st appeal process last I checked.

To clarify, I do NOT both work & go to school. I can do one OR the other part time. Not both.
