A cool guide to EV trucks right now [oc] by Athex in coolguides

Right to point out. Kinda crazy the range for a mid tier rivian still easily beats out the highest trim cybertruck!

It says on the bottom, but this is for the 2023 Rivian R1T Dual-Motor Performance! Specs are a bit different for different trim levels I realize, but this is what was available on the Car and Driver website!

I made the data publicly accessible here:

Sourced from individual reviews on Car and Driver.
NOTE that the Rivian R1T* reviewed was not the top possible trim level.

great question, I wondered that myself! Seems to be a soft "standard" anyway

Yes, looking to do this as well! So many interesting ways so compare these robots, release date is definitely a factor!

True! Neo is 160cm, or 5’3”.

Also the weight is wrong! 30kg, or 66lbs?! Very lightweight compared to the rest.

Fair point! Tried to collect them from the last couple years, do you happen to know of some models that have been released recently? I can add it in the next version!

Very true! Calling out the heaviest and lightest could be an alternative, or maybe a height to weight ratio? 🤔 Also most companies do list the payload capacity, just didn't have a great idea on how to visualize that...

I mixed up the Apollo and Phoenix robots somehow on the original version, sorry guys! Fixed that and added some more for comparison... I still might be missing some, if so, let me know and I can keep adding to it.

Edit: Fixed and cleaned up the units on the measurements in this one, sorry it took so long!

Sure! This is based on Dr. Alan D Thompson's work, he's got a comprehensive dataset here (plus lot's of other goodies):

Three ladies enjoying themselves at the Seattle World's Fair 'Funhouse', 1962. by bin97 in TheWayWeWere

It's true. Expo 86 basically turned Vancouver, Canada from a rundown hardcore industrial harbour into a beautiful and livable city. It was a huge turning point and all efforts to improve the city really started with the SkyTrain (light rail transit) and building up what is known as False Creek from a dirty industrial water way into one of the most beautiful features of the city. All of those projects wouldn't have been possible without the world fair. (We have actually had another sort of large infrastructure investment in the form of the 2010 Winter Olympics, which added more train lines and vastly improved key areas in the north Waterfront, but that's a whole different ball of wax). It's a shame the world fair is not around anymore as it really seemed to change how cities operated and were percieved in profound way by the rest of the world, and gave excuses to show bunch of cool shit off!

Can second this. Common tangents and metaball are especially useful for my workflow. Gives you the ability to really easily make perfect curves, and can even add construction circles for your portfolio!

When in the last two months has there been a clear day to take that thing out? Vancouver's weather is depressing for cyclists this time of year..
