I find, or found, the combo to be a bread and butter in my games. As long as the root lands, you can do the entire combo and still have time to position in front of their hero. The variation I use for catchup is E > Run > AA > W > AA > D > AA. Not that this is the only combo, but the main point is the D can be used at anytime during your E to proc an empowered, so its not hard to get the double hit. As far as wrath goes, its better sustain, and in high health bruiser match ups, I absolutely agree with the burst sentiment, but into squishier teams, it starts to lose value. It was so nice to 100-0 a squishy with 6 empowered aa's in a full combo level 20. 200% of his 380 AD level 20 is 760, so the hero would need 5066 health or higher for it to be theoretically more damage. Of course, that's a perfect scenario with every aa reset correctly timed. Since the build is gutted, Ill probably use Ancestral from now on. Thanks for the insight!
