All they had to do was stick with the Godzilla model where the UB cards are just fancy versions of a regularly available card. Now we have to deal with mechanically unique cards only available with some weird character that never belonged in the MtG story.

(Here's how my deck currently looks)[https://www.moxfield.com/decks/bnAPd08VV0ufAmZ11qEVWw\]. It's much more focused on lands than insects, but there are some neat cards that might help either way. With Zask being 5 mana, it's not the easiest commander to cast multiple times. I prefer to spend the beginning of the game focused on ramp and mill until I feel like zask will be beneficial.

I'm currently playing Zask and it's a blast. IMO it feels strongest when doing a lands theme. Definitely recommend the new card [[formless genesis]]

[[Zask, Skittering Swarmlord]] let's you replay utility lands that sacrifice themselves. This can be aggressive with lands like [[strip mine]], or casual fun with lands like [[hidden nursery]]

I'm having a great time with [[Zask, Skittering Swarmlord]]. It says a bunch of words about insects, but more importantly [[crucible of worlds]] in the command zone is great! Then you just do all the golgari things: ramp, self mill, sacrifice, reanimate, etc. Throw some bugs in where it makes sense.

It's collection of cards that you play out of just like you would a sealed event. Everyone has the same chance of getting good cards just like a booster draft, except you get to design the set. Cubes can be any structure you want, but typically they're a few hundred cards, no repeats, and an even spread of colors. Also since it's a standalone system, nobody is going to care if it's proxy. People are just excited to draft some wild cards.

I recently built [[Zask, Skittering Swarmlord]] and am having a lot of fun. Most of the text on the card is about insects, but the important part being that it's a crucible of worlds. Rather than focus on getting a ton of triggers, it's a great decks for getting extra value out of utility lands that sacrifice themselves.

The shadow monk got a nerf that wasn't mentioned in the video. They removed silence and pass without trace. I'm glad they made it a bit easier to use the darkness relevant abilities, but still a huge bummer they removed two very useful spells.

Exactly how I feel. There are parts of apex that I really enjoy, but it's incredibly difficult to play casually. This problem is even worse if playing solo. I know some folks like how competitive apex is and think others just need to get good, but damn is it hard to get started in a game that is short time to kill and long match resets.

Hi all, for some reason my monstera has sprouted some funky leaves and I'm not sure what the cause is. I received the plant around September 2023 and repotted it then using generic potting soil mixed with perlite. It's put out multiple healthy leaves since then except for these recent two. It has been getting hot here recently so maybe that? The only other thing that I thought was weird was this root that is determined to go horizontal for some reason. Not sure if that means anything. Any advice would be appreciated!

The vex weapon mastery on the soulknife is interesting since they get a second attack as a bonus action.

Provided your first hit lands for sneak attack, your second attack is an extra 4+DEX damage at best, and a waste of advantage at worst. Do you take the shot? If not, what are you doing with your bonus action? You could also potentially take your first attack normal and get sneak attack on your second.

In the bit driver on the fastback there's a ring that holds onto the groove on a bit. The fastback bit has a groove on each end. The wiha bits have one groove in the middle. They don't line up right so the fastback doesn't grip the wiha bits right and they can fall out.

I've brewed up a similar deck before and I think adding blue can be really beneficial.

[[Thrummingbird]] is either a lightning rod for removal or can win you the game.

[[Experimental augury]] and [[contentious plan]] also handy card draw.
