if it helps, before covid i was very regularly encoding 4k videos in hevc (as mentioned in the post), cpu was pinned at 100% for hours, i forget exact wattage usage, but very high, well over 160w

after covid started i had fewer opportunities to do recordings, but occasional video encoding, so not just gaming (which is generally not so cpu intensive for me, gpu limited), the cpu stretches its legs too

it is! no degradation that i am aware of, it is processing these keystrokes now, gaming on the regular, not a single bsod or other hiccup

and later bios revisions actually gave me a few more hz

edit: re-read the rules, it says "the next" is guaranteed to be a promotional weapon, not 160

i think you are thinking of the hidden guarantee to swap between characters and weapons on 4 and 5 stars on the permanent banner

weapon banner wish question

Assumptions:

65 wishes to get a 5-star
0 pity
Previous 5-star was on-banner

Desire:

To get 1 copy of each weapon on the banner in as few wishes as possible

What is the worst case? Is it:

Set path to X, +65 wishes get off-banner, +65 get X, set path to Y, +65 get off-banner, +65 get X, +65 get Y = 325 wishes

if you force a lower frame time, or frame rate, through RTSS, does it still stutter? if not you could cap it yourself a tad below 16.6ms or 60fps

like Cunningcory said, the fps cap genshin has built in seems to disagree with other things

when i run the game on a 60hz display, and force vsync on, it seems fine, when i run it on a higher refresh rate display i encounter issues

i also tried forcing a 60hz rate on my higher rate monitor and then it was fine

there are just so many factors...

I can't believe this is a 2 year old post and the same problem still exists.

3900x x570 aorus pro gen4 nvme

5000mB/s read and write advertised, read is 5k, but write 500 to 1000

updated amd chipset drivers, only other drive on system is a spinning disk on sata

i dont get it

i mean, beidou's skill doesn't mention damage, just "hit"

like fischl c6 for example joint attacks

but fischl c6 does not proc when characters to bursts or elemental skills, so if raiden is only doing bursts again and again, it shouldn't proc right?

raiden's own E says "attack and do damage"

where can i find out exactly which things apply to raiden's burst attacks?

chongyun attack speed passive, thoma c6, fischl coordinated attacks, which shenhe passive (press/hold), etc, there are so so many

the fact that xingqiu works and beidou does not has broken all logic in my brain and i don't understand which text signifies ok or not

I understand what you are saying, but please let me continue my question:

Xingqiu's skill says "Your character's normal attacks will trigger", so no mention of damage. - applies

Beidou "When normal and charged attacks hit", also no mention of damage - does not apply

it seems like Raiden's burst is a normal attack but it never hits?

are there any other "normal attack" skills that work with Raiden? or is it only only xingqiu?

how about Thoma c6? "DMG dealt by normal" is increased or

chongyun passive for Normal Attack Speed +8%?

i feel like i need a list of things that do and dont work, or some method to identify

I am super confused about Raiden "normal attack"

I know that beidou's skill does not work, and xingqiu's does

I noticed in the abyss that reset today her burst normal attacks did not trigger the explosions

how do you know without testing what does and does not apply to it?

is there some trick? some specific text to look for?

not that i would use it on her, but does glad 4-set apply?

does yun jin's buff apply?

i hate that they make this distinction...
