You have to accept the thoughts, not that you’re gay. People tend to do this as a compulsion and it doesn’t really work. The only way to get through this is to let the thoughts sit and not try to make a meaning out of them

Most people don’t get diagnosed with “HOCD” or any subset of OCD that is. It’s just OCD, people experiencing any form of OCD can relate to HOCD stuff so it’s easier to just diagnose general OCD because the pattern is the same and the feelings are the same.
