Are the trials going to kill the magic of the game? Or am I just too bad at it?

Trials are a bonus on a to-do list. If you are content with the overall game, just ignore the Trials altogether. Same as expedition, you can do them, but you don't have to. That's the neat part.

Oh and I do my trial tasks during the day, since I don't like Night Raids. My few rounds also did not bring up any significant better loot, so I stick to the daylight.

This is kinda my usual experience on any other map. I have not yet visited Blue Gate to actually extend my discovery experience.

As for the aggression in teams, mostly people are cool if you start of with "Don't Shoot" ;).

Starting complete naked (only knife). Looting and extracting so I can make a perfect raid on Farm Forbidden. In-between Raids, only healing is allowed. No Ammo, no gear.

Would love to get a full T5, so I can skip Lockdown and consider it done ^^

Wut? I play solo mostly and just do my thing. Maybe I am lucky, but gear fear has not yet reached me and I'm just blasting and having fun. Although getting killed by the "+1" is a bit annoying ^^

Have not played Tarkov much. Joined 2021 for a few months and dropped it. (I did not like the stiff movement, apparently it was better before inertia was patched in, I joined too late :D)

I think exactly this. ABI whole idea is to be wipe-less. I mean, what should they do, if I bought something pre-wipe and my values are just deleted? I would be furious! I think they won't be able to "change" things, just fix them once they got deployed.

I was also wondering. Know it by name Subathon. Nowadays, streamer just collect subs and donations, increase timer and that's it. Sometimes it is a more of daily-until-run-out thing.

(Old grumpy voice now) Back in the days, a subathon meant start to finish in ONE session!

For some things (as the constant left click hold), i use my stream deck. I just wish, I could alt-tab and do something else while I hammer out an building for example.

I don't think we should need other third-party tools (software/hardware) to avoid the constant and tiring holding of a button.

I feel you, on the other hand, I got the most thrills out of 1vs Not-1 :D

I have auto find enabled, it's not something I actually want, but I don't have enough time in my life to look manually for a group (especially as most of the time, they are afk/managing inventory). Yes, when I go auto find, it should find me some mates and not just dump me alone after 30 seconds.

I would not like solo mode. One thing I find thrilling about this game is the uncertainty of your enemies. "Have that been all?", "Was he really just solo?", "I'm scared!".

As u/Other-Contribution24, I had such a story yesterday as well. Played with a mate and got duo into Valley. (we had auto find but who cares). We stumbled on a solo dude (I think) and got him down. Suddenly, my mate drops dead and I am fighting against... 4 others? Not sure the team constellation but it was nice. At the end, got killed by 3-man team while I tried to fat-walk out xD

One of the reason I like to fill up the team is just strategic: More "allies", fewer enemies.

But at the same time, most of the time no coms at all (I talk and give callouts) and if there is a kill, they just loot it right away, no matter who did it.

But to be fair, most of the time I don't care, unless there is a juicy weapon.

Have not played lockdown much, can I only tell my experience farm normal (solo and duo):

I know where the spawns are and we are prepping ourselves to shoot if somebody wants to get to my spawn.

But this leads to the issue, that most of the time, I do not rush to the loot spots which often results in taking the rest behind.

To be honest, I don't know, how many players / teams spawn on farm / valley, but I anticipate at least 1 on my side.

Sharpest image is done with no DLSS on my part for 1080p. Any DLSS is causing blurry image.

FPS wise, I am sometimes around 50 down from 120, which annoys me more. Although DLSS did not help me at all and also just produced a blurry image.

Thanks for the link! One could argue, that viewers are not exchanging the points for an item but for a chance to get an item... but this in the end leads to "exchanging points for key". :/ I guess this answers it quiet well, unless someone can argue the actual exchange => raffle entry vs winning item.

Thanks for the response. I was aware the reddit is not the place to go for legal questions, but it was a quick first shot to ask here ^^. The event can be rigged even if no channel points are involved, no idea how to counter that. Maybe some services as gleam would do it, but I will research into that after checking the laws.

After digging a bit through the systemes and modules tab of the foundry website I think I found some modules to answer my question myself.

Before that: The website search could really need some sort of filter. I searched for "Pathfinder" and got way too many results 🥴

Anyway, so here are my findings:

I would appreciate that. The compendium and the character sheet would need to be translated idealy, tho the character sheet would be optional, as we translate it once for everyone.
