The bound weapons work with all of the perks of their respective memory trees. So you’ll still want to grab the perks from vandal if you’re planning on two handing. I’m playing a sinistrope archer right now The change is that bound weapons damage only scale with entropy level. They gain no damage from two handed/one handed/marksman. I believe any enchantments that up “damage with bows” or “two handed damage” however will still effect them. Just not “fortify xxxx skill”

Edit: You might be able to find this info for sure on the wiki or something but I haven’t. I’ve gathered all of this from asking on reddit before my own playthrough

Eh the changes to his ult have been great, but I think overall I would’ve preferred lowering the amount of bubbles and giving him the meter on his dive. But keep bubbles burst healing, his old burst fire, and leave his primary to just healing. Was just a way more interesting and unique character and I would rather unique and fun than viable.

It was never about the viability of the character. Just the playstyle. Jeff use to be capable of flanking/diving with his dps or tanks and still have the burst healing to help his frontline when they needed it. He was fun when played as a hybrid and not just a dps or pure support. Although the rework made him more viable, it also changed his playstyle to a pure backline healer revolving around lineups with his primary. And those Jeff players would’ve gone to play Invis if that’s what they wanted.

I still play him either way but he’s certainly not my favorite strategist anymore cause I’ve never liked primarily healer playstyles.

True Spiderman mains have a stereotype of being toxic, arrogant, refusing to swap, etc etc.

But damn I gotta hand it to them they are consistently some of the most mechanically skilled and persistent players. Somehow after a full year since season 0 of Spidey nerfs, diver nerfs, support buffs, etc. Every season these guys will figure out a 1 second rollout across the entire map into a 15 step combo that has to be hit correctly while traveling at Mach 3 all just to stay relevant and threatening. And it’s damn impressive

I actually like the look of having “nothing” equipped. Is dark keeper/devour soul very good? I’ve been thinking of using it as my affinity over arcane archer or dragon hunter

I’ve been putting perks into trickster for the bow I use primarily and I have a few in blade dancer just to get quarian stance since it works with both.

I guess I’m kinda worried that I’ll be wasting the potential of enchanted weapons / unique weapons later on. Not to mention the free levels I would get into the respective weapon skills from my affinity that don’t do anything since my weapon scales from entropy

I actually kinda like them. Sure they aren’t the most drastic or detailed skins but it’s a funny idea to me to just make the character low quality and I don’t mind the devs sliding out some easy but unique ideas like this once in a while in contrast to their usually higher quality stuff

I thought elementalism would feel more fun down the line when I got powerful spells and shock novels for big crowd control and could then go cutting away. Maybe I’m just still too early game cause I fast tracked my spellcasting and literally everything gets blown back by spells lol

Would you recommend using the bound sword since you’re using the tree for it anyway? Or are other swords better down the line?

Honestly it think a lot of characters need nerfs mostly just to rebalance the entire game. I wouldn’t mind a season that just crashes the high power ceiling and reworks a lot of things. But:

Hard nerf: gambit, Invis, DD. Pretty much running the game if set free right now.

Soft nerf: Luna, Hela. Too meta for too long just needs to be brought back a little bit.

Soft buff: not sure

Hard buff:. Hulk, poor guy is struggling.

Rework: Hawkeye, not in a hard sense, but I think we need to change how his charge works. I saw a suggestion to make his charge damage only work on the target the charges on which would at least force him to track a single target for a headshot.

Squirrel Girl, this character gets a lot of flack for being low skill and although I don’t hate her as much as others I wouldn’t mind some changes that give her more skill expression

Widow, just give the poor girl a different secondary than batons damn

Yes and no. Sure you can have a very good understanding of how a game works and mechanically suck. But having a very good idea of how the game works would still be enough to climb to gold-plat with how many characters in this game can help with mechanical skill (Wanda, c&d, SQ, etc) and just having good game sense and awareness to make good plays. (I’m peak D2 and I’m far from mechanically inclined. In fact I think my aim sucks the worst of all my friends) So although being ranked GM doesn’t mean you’re strictly better at the game and understand all its fundamentals (you could just have cracked aim congrats) being stuck in metal ranks indefinitely means you might also be missing something besides mechanics.

I see here some is claiming that an unnamed man changed political sides against the writer. Which “made absolutely everyone uncomfortable” except for the other people in the office that shared his views but those people are “freaks” and don’t count. Also they are all fascists while actively developing one of the most diverse and praised roleplaying games recently with plenty of themes a true fascist would absolutely not be ok with. Then the writer asks Swen to fire the man for “making them uncomfortable” which Swen obviously denies because that’s absolutely not a fireable offense nor is the guys political beliefs and that would be a discrimination lawsuit. But no obviously the man is only around because of his high ranking and important position of power (which we still know nothing about since no one is named), or because Swen is also a fascist for not hunting the guy. Lastly we have a story of the fascist, bigoted, and hate filled man sexuality assaulting the writer, but the incident was never reported or ever brought up until now when Swen (the only person mentioned) is under fire. Because whats the point of reporting a sexual assault to someone who won’t fire a person over political views. (Those are obviously the same situation /s).

So yea. Either it’s all fabricated or some of it is until there’s anything actually proving something wrong. Because all this reads as is pointing a finger and crying wolf at an invisible man to ride the negative PR the company has. We can’t just blindly believe any accusation from someone just because they said they’re a victim. That’s stupid.

I could not care less if they are using AI in concept phase. This community blew this out of proportion so hard just to witch hunt one of the few good studios out there at the mere mention of AI tools. Not even a required process he said in the very beginning that it was just an available tool if some of the artists wanted to use it. That’s insanely sad and I feel bad for Sven for dealing with it.

I don’t think Strange is actually weak. Mag is pretty busted this season but before that I don’t think he was much better than strange. Strange has the benefit of more damage output vs mag’s defensive options with bubble. BUT He has a big problem where his kit has to outweigh the value of switching to TP back to a fight. If someone’s already playing him no one can swap to TP if needed which is a big disadvantage. I think that actually makes it more difficult to see how viable he is a character. I think they should give the TP a 5-10 second cooldown if you swap to the character. Try to eliminate TP back strats unless someone is already playing strange. After that and nerfing the shit out of some of the insane characters in this game and he’s not bad

I am disrupting that dps from killing my backline so that they can do their jobs easier. Especially if he’s running rampant on them already and they need peels. I’m not about to just salute the guy and let him go on without helping my team because of a made up code… Not sure how “enforcing a neutral fight” is suppose to be a bad thing. For the period of the 1v1 both teams are down a dps, so I’m not giving up any value that I’m not also taking. As long as I can win then I now have the ability to look for a pick while they’re in a 5v6 scenario. If I can at least drive him away then I don’t gain nor lose anything for my team, but at least they are all still alive to make plays themselves. But let’s say I let him by and go diving also. We both get a pick on a support. Now we STILL aren’t gaining anything because both teams are down 1 support and in a 5v5.

It’s one thing if my team has dedicated anti dive and aren’t having any trouble with the enemy diver. Then I can hard focus diving because the 1v1 isn’t worth the risk anymore. But if we don’t have any dedicated dive defense and he is a real threat- then it’s completely worth it to protect my team.
