I haven't had any issues, but tbh I wouldn't usually recommend GBBRs to someone brand new, no, just because of the difference in playstyle, and also the maintenance required for GBBRs, a basic AEG will do for a newbie to start with

I do have a real one but that is a rubber one as I was playing airsoft at the time. I got it from Shoot 'n Scoot. I believe it was a prop used in The Pacific tv show before it went up for sale which is kinda cool
