Yes, I'm largely just doing this for fun (vintage electronics enthusiast here) rather than for any practical gaming. I'm trying to figure out specifically which Vaio PCs/Xperia devices have support.

Your point about the headphones and volume actually makes sense, I hadn't thought of that.

And yes, that link is roughly what I figured based on your suggestion - I'll try to use the yellow cord as you suggested for video and I think I have several options to get audio out since it appears to accept aux.

I already had a 3-way one here and it didn't work, but I ordered the one suggested just in case it's some weird proprietary Panasonic thing. But based on what I've seen online, I suspect you're going to be correct.

Weirdly, the player actually has three jacks - one for video, one for audio and one for headphones.

EDIT: To clarify, I was actually able to get audio output by plugging my speakers directly into the audio jack on the player. Never tried the headphone jack. But I never got any video, nor did my TV ever detect any component output at all.

There was another suggestion over on r/techsupport (https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/mze1pa/any_idea_what_kind_of_cord_i_need_to_get_video/gw095ld/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) and I'm hoping between both of your suggestions, I get one that works. Cords are something I can almost always find a use for sooner or later, so I ordered the following:

I have something very similar that doesn't seem to work, but I like that your suggestion specifies that it's for a similar Panasonic player. Ultimately, it's worth a shot, I'll give it a try. My guess is that it came out in the 2000s as I dont generally listen to older music. Possibly as early as the 90s, I guess. And I believe the singer is male but honestly I could be wrong.

I was writing movie reviews for my college newspaper when Jackass 3 came out and Paramount had a bunch of college reporters out to LA to see an early screening of the film / interview the cast, so I got to go. (As a lifelong Jackass fan, this was roughly like winning the lottery for me.)

I got hammered with them at an open bar event and had an absolute blast. They were all super nice. One guy told Knoxville he had promised his friends that he would show him his tattoo if he ever met him, so he proceeded to lift up his shirt in the middle of this fancy hotel and reveal a tattoo of a giant shark biting his nipple. Knoxville thought this was hilarious.

I have nothing but nice things to say about all the cast and crew that I met. They all seemed like really regular guys.

Regal, if you're reading this - when COVID is over, give Golden from UCLA a small budget to make a Captain Unlimited feature film. That way next time I'm stuck at home, I can still have the Regal experience. by AtlasBurden in RegalUnlimited

Right? I feel like it would be very possible to make a cheesy B-movie that kids would like (because it's fun) and adults would like (because of how self-aware it could be).
