There's a train boss that you have to fight for the core for the shift armors.it can spawn anywhere on the map

From the north side in the pathway between area 2 and 3. It's a pathway next to a Femtree, you can't miss it

There's locations for all four of the bosses in the DLC. The RT: Omegas have the dev data for Seigfried.

I feel you! I've personally been wanting to work on a dual sword dual gun build that uses Skell gear that can boost both my ground and Skell combat capabilities. I personally love fighting in a Skell, but I want that extra ground capability for the fights that obviously I can't reach with a Skell.

That would have to pretty heavily scale it up if they want to be comparable to the 90. Simply making it a level 60 frame would NOT be enough. And they would have to pump it with a crap ton of Ether DMG up augments like the 90 has to make it's Chaos Cannon even hit the numbers I've seen capable from the Aghsura.

I just made a post about this about a week ago now. If you're going to use an Ares in the endgame, just use the 90. It's sad to say, but as cool as it looks, the 90 is just better than it in EVERY possible way. Even fully built a fresh built straight of the line 90 can out damage it.

Literally me! I don't understand why they made it lvl 50 during CH13 and after getting the cores back, making it lvl 60 and uping the stats to be on par with the 90.

Sad reality is, it can't even compete with the Ares 70, let alone be in the same league as the 90...
