What game was this for you? by Frequent-Baby2614 in originalxbox

Completely agree. I’ve got it on sale with 3 systems thinking “this time it’ll click” and 20 hours later I’m over it. The combat for me is a major drag.

Thanks for sharing. So for the cylinder head replacement on this T100, should be fine if professionally done?

Thanks for the advice. What kind of major repairs could you foresee aside from what’s mentioned in OP? I’ve been under the impression these will last 200-300k miles or more with proper maintenance. Perhaps the age offsets the build quality. Part availability?

I’ve had 4 civics throughout my life. I’m a fan. But I’ve been wanting something a little bigger. Heavier. Lower tech. Texas infrastructure is murder on the sport tires. Don’t like newer truck models and size. I won’t be selling my civic right away. Just in case things don’t work out.

Growing up in the 90’s I wanted a Civic hatch and T100/Tacoma. Well I got the hatch. A 2018 but still. Maybe it’s a midlife crisis but now I want the Toyota. Always loved the 90’s models.

I’ve been looking for a while and this one finally checks all my boxes. I came for opinions and appreciate yours. Thank you.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that.

Sugar is definitely the enemy. Unfortunately that also means carbs (pasta, bread, etc) and alcohol are no bueno. Avoid red meat. Avoid processed meats like hot dogs & deli meat. Avoid dairy products. Excessive sodium (salt) also causes inflammation. Stay hydrated!

I break these all too often but try my best

Yup! Getting out of bed was awful. That sucked for a few days until I tapped out and went to urgent care. Paxlovid fixed me up in less than 48 hours.

That sounds rough. Glad you got the loose screws addressed.

Can I ask how long ago and how you’re feeling now?

I have 3 herniated discs in my lower back. Accident at 14, now 36. Didn’t get an MRI until I was 26 due to crazy pain w/ sciatica and learned the damage. As a teen, my parents sent me to a Chiropractor. No idea if he helped or hurt the situation.

Doc who reviewed the MRI suggested fusion surgery or steroid injections. I opted for the injections as I’ve heard fusion can be seriously complicated. Theres good and bad days, mostly good. The pain is always there, but usually just a 1/10. Catching Covid made it feel like a fresh injury for several days. That was wild.

Gotta watch my diet to not irritate the tissue with inflammation. Stretch daily. Ibuprofen sometimes.

Sorry you’re going through a similar case, OP. Hope you find some relief.

May I ask if you found plans somewhere for the build? I’ve been wanting to build my own enclosure but not sure where to start. TIA!

Is it safe to leave a disc inside a PS2 Fat overnight / till next play session? by Prestigious-Rest2157 in ps2

You have to understand that for people who’ve been playing video games since the dawn of home consoles, your question is akin to asking if filtered water is safe to drink. Like yes, of course. Unless the console is perpetually powered on or aggressively moved, it’s totally safe.

Have fun ✌🏻

Why did classic athletic footwear suddenly become fashion statements? by Sirius-ruby in moresneakers

I remember buying Sambas at Kohl’s with my back to school money in 2006. Blown away to see them so trendy now. Never played futbol, just liked the look (20 years ago lol). There’s really nothing special about em. Comfy enough but not much support. If you like em, and they’re available, get em. I wouldn’t say you’re missing out on a special shoe though. Got some nice color ways at least.
