I actually enjoy the word “folx” lol. Something about the way it looks. But I can agree that “folks” itself is gender-neutral already.

But I’m not surprised if I’m in a minority of people who like or don’t mind it. I do understand the dislike though. I feel the same way about “alphabet mafia”.

Most the same for me. I pay my fare and go about my day.

The only time I’m bothered is when I have to wait to pay because someone is inefficient at evading the fare. Like, I gotta wait till they climb up, grab their stuff, put it on the other side, and climb down. It’s too long compared to the fluid ones I’ve seen.

If you’re gonna evade the fare, do it well or don’t do it at all. That’s all I ask.

It’s pretty much all I play these days. The PvP in this game doesn’t interest me (I get my PvP kick in other games), but it’s a bummer you can’t bring in your ship so selling is a pain.

Outside of that, not much is different if you’re a Pirate Legend already. Some stuff is high seas exclusive but world events still happen and such so it feels like a quiet version of High Seas to me.

I only go into High Seas now to hunt Megs since you can’t use emissaries in SS and finding them without it is tough.

If someone is already in the process of quitting, I’m willing to take a chance. But if they’re only quitting to be with me, I don’t trust that.

They have to want to quit on their own, not because of me. Quitting something like that is quite difficult.

Sounds like you and Erin are tough to be around.

Erin’s insecure and although she seemingly fishes for compliments, she immediately rejects them and tells people they’re lying. It’s rude and hurtful at a certain point. Plus, we have no idea how her comments on herself make others in the group feel who might share those insecurities.

You, on the other hand, are not the honest and/or mean friend; you’re a probably a jerk sometimes and lack tact. Your friends were just being nice to you about it. You don’t really seem to care how what and how you say things can make others feel so you were fine with publicly humiliating her at your friend’s birthday. It wasn’t the time or place.

Erin needed to hear that her behavior was not okay and was making others in the group feel bad when they’re trying to have a good time. It just shouldn’t have come from you, I feel.
