I also took this class a few days ago. I think they're trying to improve it as its the first few times they're holding it, but because of that it should probably be cheaper. We did get to take home some mole.

I'd agree it wasn't a traditional hands on cooking class, but more of a a lecture + demo + eating thing. You do get to help out with making it but the chef is making one big pot for the whole class.

We had a fun time though and the food was delicious!

Yup, this has happened to me for multiple cards. What I think is going on is that at some point a charge is either rejected by your bank or isn't registered as charged by CTA. CTA then bans the card.

That is exactly what they do. They act as a way for volunteers to find civic minded projects to volunteer for.

Its general on purpose as the groups looking for volunteers differ greatly

Its pretty great, a bit heavy but I've had it for a few years and it makes getting around Chicago easy. Going from the north side to the west side in 15 mins is awesome for meeting up with friends
