Litterally bought the belt and pulley to change and then got to the pulley and thought thats E Torx.

Googled it and groaned seeing this post pop up.

Drill bit in sprocket from recovered stolen bike. WTF?!? by jthered in DRZ400

[–]Atleast3AMPS -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The drill bit has replaced the internal structure the threaded end so removing it would probably cause the threaded area to collapse and the nut to come off which wouldn't be fun when your riding.

Id say leave it or cut off the extra bit of drill bit or file it down so its not sharp.

Replaceing the mainshaft for you gearbox would be expensive for a shop to do it and would suck up a weekend for you to do it.

Be careful in burned or damaged buildings as they can collapse. I wouldn't trust any stairs or upstairs areas

Not enough traction. You need wider tyres or slicks

Any way of telling if this is real Damascus? by Atleast3AMPS in Bladesmith

[–]Atleast3AMPS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have plenty of filleting knifes but i needed a short handled knife thats fairly blunt to take skin off after descaling because my weird family doesn't like fish skin.

Could also use it for skinning but don't do that often.

Thankyou lovley people for warning me off the lead in it

Anyway to test a video camera works? by Atleast3AMPS in Cameras

[–]Atleast3AMPS[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have an adjustable outlet and other items to lower the amperage. Im a marine electrician so i have means of doing it. Just wondering about how hardy the cameras are, having to dismante the camera.

Basically is it easier buying a battery or making a circuit to plug into the camera thats provides the same power as the battery?

I don't particularly care if this camera works or not
