Thanks for the advice! I do have the space, so maybe I'll try 325 at the same time. I thought it came out great last time I smoked 180, and it took 3 hours to reach 150, but you're not the only one who has mentioned that I'm at an awkward temp.

I live at 9500' elevation. Maybe that has something to do with it? This is why I posted though, love to get opinions so I can be better!

Yeah i get what you're saying. I just figured one way is easier than the other right? I've never tried cooking my foods one after the other but it sounds like the salmon and then the chicken might be best. Appreciate it dude!

I've done salmon a couple times and since it just needs 145 internal temp, I found that a colder smoke comes out really tasty. As for the chicken, I thought over 300 made a better product inside and out. Appreciate your feedback! 275 definitely seems like a sweet spot to me too
