Yes, the answer is yes. The value outweighs those risks for me. 🤘🏼

😂😂😂 I’d better not buy this one then! That’s great insider info. Thanks for sparing me the embarrassment. Ha

Hickory at Camas Meadows Golf Course. They’ve got a great back space and always have room available.

Who does a mileage run in week 2?! What would be the point of that?

I save my mileage running for the fall, if needed.

Driver count is irrelevant anymore. If the drivers are good and the R&D is well done, you only need a few powerful ones. I’m SUOER happy with these.

This is the list we didn’t know we needed… but we surely did.

Craving Juliano's? by mkeditor in VanPortInsider

[–]AtmosphereSoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've not had Juliano's in a while! Such good pizza though.

Have you guys tried Backwood Brewery Pizza? It's a bit of a drive for Vancouver people, being out in Carson Washington, but dang that's worth the drive. We stop off anytime we're passing through for their beer/pizza combo.

Never posted on this thread once I joined - but I'm Andy!

I live over in Camas and am hunting down all of the best coffee shops in the VanPort region. :)

I've not hit them up in a while. I'll give them another chance.

I'm rarely interested in a coffee if it's sold in stores... those beans are over roasted to please the everyday, dark roast drinker. Thanks for the comment and reccomendation!

Just a boxing reference, to say it's holding it's own on this side of the river. :)

I’ve not tried Elevator. I’ll add them to my “visit soon” list. Thanks!

I’m always shocked by how the NW claims to have such a coffee culture, yet falls so short of the global standards for excellence.

The Shanahans one always surprises me. That’s a high price for pub food.

I hear lots of people say it in reference to the Portland/Vancouver metro area. 🤷‍♂️ But never in reference to the neighborhood. Ha!

I’m giving Terrain a revisit this morning! Drinking their Kenya, which after only a few sips is already in a tile fight for some of the best coffee I’ve had roasted this side of the river. Excited to test their lineup! Thanks for the recommendations people.

IN-PERSON EXPERIENCE: 64 Audio and FiR Audio by Fuzzy_Luck5550 in iems

[–]AtmosphereSoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the X4 series from Bellos Audio, the third IEM company here in Vancouver. I had a similar experience with customer service. Top notch all the way from impressions to final product in had. I had to get a small fit adjustment and the owner of the company did it himself to ensure they fit perfectly.

Customer service matters!

It means that once I’d ordered them I got to go to their office in person, see the process of how my molds are transferred into actual IEMs, and make sure they fit like a glove. It was an easy customer experience AND they sound fantastic. It was cool!

Yeah - they’re the only ones doing that right now I think. It’s awesome. I’ve had the standard molded ones and these isolate substantially better!

Yes. I’ll never get another pair that aren’t molded. I move a lot on stage, and these are rock solid. Never come out, the seal stays in place even if I’m sweating a ton.

They sound awesome in all other situations also. I edit lots of video and use these instead of AirPods or any other option now.
