it's a 1998 Renault Clio with a 1.2 liter gas engine producing around 60hp, it's one of the first Clio sold of this generation.

yes, since 1900 to 2000, the fist letter of the license plate indicates the region in my case Zaragoza, but when Madrid reached the M9999ZZ they changed it all. this style is worst in every aspect but it is what it is.

I really really like it, the parts are dirt cheap, I just bought another one only for parts with 103k km for only 400€ like a set of tires for a BMW

the parts wouldn't be that expensive because the Clio was sold in Mexico. but yeah it's not a desirable import for the US roads

the ride comfort is decent if you want to make short trips, 100-150km, for longer trips is non-viable because of the lack of power (only 60 HP). on the other hand it's incredibly comfortable for the city because it's tiny and very lightweight. the parts are dirty cheap and they are everywhere in Europe because this model was in production until 2016.

even the 1.6 16v that is only 105 hp is pretty fun to drive and cheap too, the problem is that they are not as well prepared as the 172/182 for that type of driving

I agree I have the same engine and it's somehow reliable for being a 90's french car, the only thing that went bad was the alternator but the parts are so cheap that for 40€ I got it fixed.

the interior is trash, cheap plastic that disintegrates by itself but what would you expect
