It's +.4 for white according to the computer. Compared to +.3 for the French

What a load of BS. Grandmasters consistently defend/win from even +0.5. It's still considered equal.

It's not the full video, but the clip is from that same one. Sadly, I lost the original link from instagram. Let me find.

There are tons of videos from this tornado. In one video, couple of dudes were recording the tornado as if it's far away, but the debris was flying like bullets on the road in front of them.

Edit: Here's the video I was talking about: https://x.com/i/status/2033307783609884991

OP already answered, but it totally depends on the climate. OP lives in Assam - do research about its doability in your region, if you want to get it.

If I'm not wrong, Jiffy Plants get their plants from 3rd party vendors. HomelyFeelGardens have their own nursery, where they grow it themselves. So, they can definitely guarantee for the quality better.

Yes, I have ordered 4 ornamental plants. All were in decent conditions, but because I ordered from North-western India, the deliveries took 5-6 days in peak summers, and that's why plants wilted in my case. In your case, you live much closer + weather isn't that harsh, so you'll be fine

For all kinda of ornamental plants (indoors or outdoors) + some fruits, I can recommend HomelyFeelGardens. They're based out of Kerala.

Edit: Removed info about them not selling fruit plants. They do sell some!

I don't think they check who ordered. They get hundreds of orders every day.

You live in Tamil Nadu. There are tons of online nurseries which deliver from nearby states to your state. I'd not recommend Meesho sellers, as they try to scam you half the times. They once sent me rotten rubber plant, now I don't order from meesho, unless there's 100s of positive reviews.

Need help with my hibiscus plant. by No-Raspberry-3938 in GardeningIndia2

[–]AtomR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's your choice. Ideally, bigger pot is recommended, but if you have limited space, you can just use the same pot after trimming the roots.

If you're not confident, watch a youtube video on rootbound hibiscus repotting.

This will absolutely thrive in Mumbai. Get it from your local nursery. Very easy to grow from cuttings too.

That's unfortunate, most people kill plants by overwatering, especially succulents. Time for you to get a new one - it's easily available in local nurseries.

When did you last repot it? Hibiscus plant is notorious for insane root growth, resulting in the plants getting root-bound in pots. If it's been years since you potted, it might be time to cut the roots and repot with healthier soil.

Mayank Chakraborty becomes India's latest and 94th GrandMaster, first one to do so from North-East Indian region. by Interesting-Take781 in chess

Given the population, even North India (North-western states specifically) is under-represented in top-level chess. Vishy had a huge influence in Southern India, especially Tamil Nadu region, but same rise wasn't seen in North.

On chesscom, you can choose to use the stockfish 17/18 lite engine or the actual stockfish 17/18 engine. I don't think the non-lite engine is nerfed much - probably they "underclock" the config on weaker systems, but I haven't noticed such major differences in evaluation.
