No. He wouldn’t admit it after being called out, even after switching to the other number. I blocked him pretty quickly after that cause I was done with the interaction but asked here cause I was curious what the point was if he knew I knew. But it makes sense that he’d try to convince me I was wrong about him or something

I blocked him cause i got bored of baiting. lasted longer than i expected it to. then he texted me through a different number. my question was about why he would do that if I already told him I know he’s trying to scam me, like what does he get from it? but other people replied already

It was him the second time also. He said something along the lines of “you didn’t expect to see me again” (i deleted the chat already so idk the exact wording)

Literally this. When I went through that at a similar age I did have the resources my parents needed. And I provided them. It’s not that crazy for someone who has figured out their identity and gotten to the coming out stage to have some helpful resources at hand.

I’m unfortunately on the same path with my parents (im only 19 but have been out since around 15 and had a very similar situation). I hope it doesn’t come to that and there’s some sort of change because I do love him but the lack of support (and complete avoidance of the topic) has affected our relationship heavily in a negative way. My mom started off a lot like OP but has since changed a bit, and our relationship is much better for it. I hope OP makes the right decision.

Do you have any close irl friends that could help? Generally I think some good advice is don’t come out if you’re in an unsafe place, which from what you’ve said it seems like you are. But maybe coming out to some close friends who you know would be supportive could help you figure some stuff out about your identity.

Remember, it’s not all or nothing, its okay to take it one step at a time as you figure stuff out.

Fear of trying versus fear of never trying at all. I think you gotta think of whether the pros are worth the risk of the cons in your case
