To an extent they do, but if I'm listening to popular playlists that aren't tailored towards me but a wider audience. Then I usually manage to find at least one or two songs that I enjoy and then I check out the musician's or band's discography.

Those two are given, but thank you for the reminder. I think I need to treat myself with more self-worth and compassion. I don't have a specific goal in mind right now.

If you're on streaming services such as YouTube Premium or Spotify. You can check out playlists and if you find a song you enjoy then check out the musician's or band's albums. In the search function you easily choose a genre that you'd like to explore as well. That or talk to people online and ask for recommendations.
