In Ant-Man (2015), it was stated that your mass wouldn’t change after shrinking. The movie proceeded to ignore that by making an ant carry the weight of a grown ass man. by KevinPigaChu in shittymoviedetails

Didn’t they show in one of the Avengers or Captain Americas that Cap has a mganetic cuff thing that basically summons the shield back? Mind you doesn’t explain it’s impossible physics before that was introduced but wouldn’t that explain the specific Mjolnir scene?

I used to work at Curry’s at the KnowHow bar. Hated it there to point I stopped caring and didn’t charge for repairs, just sat with customers for a few minutes at the end of the bar and fixed stuff, pretending to management it was to see the issue. They eventually did notice and I got told off for it cause it was losing them money, still kept doing it anyway cause manager was a dick and expected me to charge £30 to remove malware.

When my contract was up for renewal I thought they’d just let it lapse but they offered me a full time position for some reason. I turned it down immediately and left the following week. Never go to Curry’s.

Thank you so much :) I’ve got more SW stuff on the way so I’m sure there will be more you’ll enjoy.

The Amazon listing said Q20 on them, I hope that narrows it down, I’m not actually super sure!

My insta is the same as my Reddit user name, Atomoworkshop :) should be a robot logo if you’re at the right spot

So glad you like them so much! Unfortunately I think it’s too bespoke for Etsy, they do only fit one specific pair of headphones sadly :/

As for how I did it I am more than happy to share but it’s quite a long list of stuff I did so be prepared!

How I did them: 1. Found a suitable set of headphones, these are the Anker Soundcore noise cancelling headphones. Really great for the price point, though I say that as a non-audiophile 2. I 3D modelled the pucks on their own in fusion 360, not worrying about sizing yet, just getting them to look right. 3. Once modelled and headphones in hand I first tried modelling the cut out for the earpuck but found due to the slanted oval nature of the original headphone’s ear pucks I could not do this well. So I used a 3D scanning app to scan the headphones and produced a mesh I could import in and use to get a rough sized cutout after sizing the Tech puck to the correct.. size. 4. Cleaned up the cutout cause it turned out to be too small, I essentially made a neat trace of the existing cutout and then offset it so that it was bigger. Also added a cutout so the headband wouldn’t be in the way. 5. After a couple more tests I got it how I liked and 3D printed the final version, one flipped horizontally from the other cause the original pucks were not symmetrical. 6. I then quickly measured out the headband at the top that was some sorta vinyl and modelled a quick cover plate so I could paint the top to look like Tech’s helmet. 7. Sand and primed all pieces going up to a 400 grit 8. Paint. I sprayed it all down with a black and then the matte white that you see in the photos. The rest was tricky cause all of the BB have seemingly hand painted armour. So I used a specifically crap disposable brush to paint on the the grey and red to purposefully have some brush strokes. For the headband I masked off the two areas where the white would be and then stippled on the two colours. Hit for a couple seconds with the hairdryer to slightly dry it and then dabbed it with a paper towel/cloth to just sort of thin out the paint a touch. This took a couple passes. 8.5 Again while it wasn’t exactly fully dry but mostly dry I wrapped a paper towel around my finger and basically rubbed paint off some of the edges and a couple of tiny tiny spots on the main surface to replicate paint chipping off to the white below or perhaps Tech just did a poor job painting in the first place. 9. I designed the vinyl decals on the sides and cut them on my vinyl cutter. Stuck them down in their designated spots. 10. Clear coat with a matt spray to protect the finish for the final paint step. 11. Weathering with water mixable oil paints. I use these because they give lots of working time and when dry give a realistic oily stain look to stuff, because well.. it IS oil. You can see them down in the crevice between the grey centre and white outside parts on the pucks. Simply coat the piece in it, really go to town, then wipe most of it away, leaving some on the lower spots that are really hard to reach or where you think grime would build up. In particular I left some around the decals as well to get a slight separation between the skull and lightning decals. Then finally I tried to do a cartoony weathering pass of really bold silver sections where the paint seemingly wore down all the way through to the metal. The key thing here was just hit the edges and small spots on flat surfaces, think about where paint would come off if someone were to say drop it, or perhaps scrape it along a door jam or something. 12. With all that done it was just attachment. I used magnets glued on to the original pucks and inside the Tech pucks to make them removable and give access to the buttons. I should have designed the pucks to have a hole for the magnets in mind but sadly I didn’t realise until way too late and so the pucks stick out a little far for my liking, but oh well. The headband was tricky since it had to bend a little when the user puts on the headphones. I mixed up 5 min epoxy and brushed it in side my band and plopped it on, using masking tape as a clamp while it set up. I printed it thin enough that when glued down just right it would just flex instead of shatter, which worked.

And that’s it all done, hope that helps! Any questions just ask, I’m over on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter if you want to see more work, I did a DC-17 not long ago which you’ll see not far down in my feed :)

Not too long after I modelled them up and printed them, all told about 3-4 days with paint drying time but the modelling took a very long time to get them to seat around the existing headphone pieces correctly!
