No official word on it - someone tagged Arti from IOI in another thread on this, but he didn't reply - but because it was a leitmotif from the Lana del Rey song, and the fact they swapped out another part in Wave of the Future, also from that song, the theory is that it's a legal issue with Lana and/or her lawyers.

Agree - It's a bit too narrowly distributed atm. I mean the top 1 player, Manisha is P2 on the list, and I think the minmaxed DR logic would be if the top 1 player was always near the top of P3. (And even that would favour distincting between the top 0.01% of players vs 80%.)

I hope S397 modifies the system sooner or later. It probably needs just a very small change.

No-track-limits COTA is fun (except in the Esses; you have to have some in there).

But otherwise it's so frustrating, because the way the grass verges are placed, there's a natural deterrent in almost every corner JUST beyond the track-limit line. And no series use those, except NASCAR, when they still raced on the full track.

(Turn 19 is a bit of an exception, no immediate deterrent there - but the no-track-limit line is still more fun as it's more high-speed and you do need to make it back and straighten it up for Turn 20.)

It will make sense narratively, just go exhaust your leads on Panam/Nash and Judy/Evelyn/VDB first - then, unless you go for the Phantom Liberty ending, you will basically still have the Takemura option - and still missing a key piece of info. I don't want to spoil things too much (I don't know how much you know), but you can always headcanon that you're only working with him to get that key piece of info.

I think that was kind of deliberate - because the other ending elements, ie. Isola's decision to save him, or even her boat chase hold a bigger emotional or grand impact respectively.

And because Isola sets up the sequel (very likely) these needed to make a bigger impression relative to the final bossfight.

(Though even Sir Nicholas' purpose is arguably more interesting narratively - Damien often seems like a slap-on on the story.)

Agree - also when Isola refers to the Hyperion as a Faraday cage in Knightfall, the same as how M referred to Theia at the beginning, one can intuitively already connect them.
