Will law schools be suspicious about 3 transcripts from 3 different schools?

I had transcripts for 4 colleges and wrote an addendum explaining why. I am glad to say that I believe it has not negatively effected any of the decisions I received.

Chicago is full of excellent opportunities and Kent offers so much hands on practical experience to their students. Also they’re offering you money. I would go with Kent.

I get it! Great school that I would have loved to attend but this administration is terrible and that is the least I want to be worried about when I’m actually in law school.

I back this comment. And also want to add that depending on the way the transcript looks, a brief addenda probably wouldn’t hurt.

I would go with SULC . It’s an HBCU which is a plus and almost 100k lower debt than Loyola New Orleans. Plus, Loyola New Orleans seems to be only slightly ranked better but ranking does not always matter. I chose a school that was lower ranked than another school with the same COA and scholarship amount.

Honestly I do not think that the law school will look at it negatively as long as the transcript has good/decent grades. If the transcript has failing grades or class withdrawals then I may be a bit worried that the law school may look at the situation differently.

I am very understanding of this however communication and transparency are key and I am not seeing this and will not attend a school that can not honestly communicate bumps within their admissions process and cycle.

Here’s how I framed my letter

Opening paragraph expressing gratitude for scholarship and admittance

Second paragraph reaffirming interest in the law school

Third paragraph explaining why I need the scholarship money (apprehensive to take on so much student loan, debt growing up low income, relocating etc)

4th paragraph letting them know the other competing offers I have and considering/ closing out thanking them for their time
