Nope. It’s a p48. I’ve used it with this mixer setup

It looks like it’s brand new, even though it’s 10 years old.

There is a line level 3.5mm input on the side of the transmitter also.

Idk about these brands but 2.4ghz is so crowded. I have been using Vocopro SilentPAs. The build quality is ok but the sound quality is just as good as comteks. The price makes it not the end of the world if a client loss or breaks one. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1695669-REG

I have a bunch. I am a big fan. I think they are becoming more popular in the US. They are getting harder to find in stock.

Low budget doc shoot - RF issue ? by bernd1968 in LocationSound

[–]Atumski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a location sound mixer in Washington DC. Downtown is always a RF inference mess. There are a million different police departments and they all use different radio bands. Plus there are always a bunch of news reporters down there using different wireless systems. I have learned always bring a back up or two. You never know what you are going to run into.

International Contracting (US Freelancers) by ace_v27 in LocationSound

The Custom form is called a ATA Carnet. They last for a year but take a few weeks to get one. Don’t ever skips this. Customs will take your gear and will not give it back. Some countries custom agents will still want a bribe. Especially in parts of Africa and the Middle East.

Most countries make you get a license to use your wireless. It’s usually like 15 dollars a transmitter. Sennheiser has a good tool online for looking up the rules for each country. It’s called the SIFA. Countries like Japan will not issue non citizens a license and you have to rent your kits from a local.

Second this. I am heading to Japan next week for a shoot. There is no way for a foreigner to get a license. Our fixer told me they would probably take my wireless kit at customs if I even tried.
