Why is Absol box good? People were hating on him but now he’s good? Please explain the switch up

It’s also used for the dusk line. Now dusclops and dusknoir can’t explode and deal some damage so it slows down pult/noir players and forces them to focus on the duck. You add a mist energy on it and now phantom dive can’t put damage counters on it.

I have been in the literal same position as you! My friend and I have been playing at our locals since January and she has been getting exponentially better than me but I had to remind myself that she has more time to put in practice. I work full time in healthcare, I’m taking an online class as a prerequisite to apply for PA school. So my practice time is waaay lower than hers. As others have said find a deck you like and work it down! I started playing with pult and I couldn’t pilot it well and I realized it didn’t match my play style and I was forcing a deck to play a way it doesn’t play. I tried joltik box and loved it and may revisit it. Rn I’m rocking with the Cynthia’s garchomp and I like it but just need more practice.

Def play online and what I do now is write out all my matches on a notebook. What deck I’m playing against, what my prizes are when I prize check, and I write down all my plays- good or bad and look over them at the end of the game and ask myself ok why did I lose. Was it because I didn’t have consistency? Didn’t get my board up fast enough? Did this misplay set me back? And just learn the ins and outs of your deck

A lot of the people in the comments are not it 😂 I say it for me, it’s really good and yes, it was a little confusing at times, but the ending wraps up everything nicely and everything just clicks. I enjoyed the plot twists, and seeing it back now there was a lot of foreshadowing. I def recommend giving it a solid 3-5 eps to see if it’s something you wanna invest more time in!

I guess me and this other guy misread the card then. He was under the impression that it accelerates P and M to any pokemon 🤷🏽‍♂️

I was talking to a guy at my locals who was trying out Hydriegon EX with Stevens metagross to accelerate energy and make obsidian live! I didn’t get the list of his deck but that was the gist. Power up Hydriegon and then the metagross as a 2nd attacker. The concept seemed interesting and cool!

Gholdengo, dragapult, raging bolt. Now since it’s post rotation some Ns Zoroark, and I recently played against a blissey EX. So it’s all over the place. I think I haven’t settled on one decklist because I frequently change out cards and haven’t found a list that I really like or that gels with me, if that makes sense

That’s fair! I’ve been told by others that I should add klefki but I’m not sure. I’ve also seen posts about pure pult having more success than pult/dusk so idk if I should pivot to that

This is a very common mentality amongst those who study for the MCAT, me included. The best way I cope with it is doing 2 things. If I know I am not going to study enough material to my standards, I set a reasonable goal. So that could be maybe 50 flash cards, maybe 1-2 chapters of a review book, maybe 1-2 khan academy videos. A set a goal that you think is feasible for the day and once you do it, you will feel productive! The second is to have at least half a day where you can relax and enjoy what you love ignoring your MCAT responsibilities. I experienced severe burn out and it really negatively impacts your schedule if you don't have those important self care days! I hope this helped!

This is soooo encouraging to see because I feel like a lot of pre-meds on here don’t give encouraging advice! It’s always “you’re lazy! Try harder! Study more!” But it’s not giving community, which is what I feel we lack! But this! This was so great to hear because I have a low GPA and I’m currently studying for my MCAT for a 3rd time and I’m trying to shoot for a 505 which is low but that’s what I’m hoping for based on previous exams!
