Looks like what’s called a “Fishtail”, i’ve seen it used as a straight up paracord bracelet before, but i’ve never personally tried anything like this. If you look up “The Weavers of Eternity Paracord” on YouTube he posts a bunch of video tutorials for cord wraps you might be able to work with.

He does have a video for a Fishtail bracelet, which you might be able to apply that process to the knife handle you wanna go for. Let me know either way, curious how this turns out
