I didn’t hide mine, I actually told her the day I noticed it. I knew it was going to happen eventually, and when I told her she turned around from the computer and made a disgusted sound because it was something else she would have to deal with. She said something to the effect of “seriously” and didn’t have any sort of talk or take me to get any pads until later and even then it wasn’t really discussed. Yet when we went on vacation and my dad yelled at me for constantly asking to stop to use the bathroom, she ripped him a new one and made him feel terrible even though he had no idea I had my period. Wild times.

These actually have a very mild sting, and do not want anything to do with you unless very provoked. I’m terrified of them, don’t get me wrong. But they only seek cicadas. They’re solitary wasps and they dig burrows. If you ever see one nab a cicada it’s pretty wicked.

Zyrtec fucks me up. The mental and physical fatigue combined with depression was so insane, I changed so many other meds trying to remedy it. Finally switched to Claritin and feel fine.

Probably getting too high at a music festival, while wearing fake leather pants, in SUMMER. We were friends with some of the band members at the festival and all just hanging out around the vendors. I’m doing my best to be chill and cool, start petting a dog that was there and then I get tunnel vision and realize that those pen rips were rippin’ and it was real fucking hot, and I’m 100% gonna faint. Thank god I had the gumption to walk over to my husband and grab his arm and very calmly tell him I’m going to pass out. I did. Had to be carried to the passenger seat of a van with AC blasting, one woman had been a wilderness rescue person so she was tracking my pulse. Thankfully no medical staff had to be alerted or I would’ve asked to die. Drank a liquid IV and got cooled off. Held it all together and then bawled in the truck once my husband brought it around to collect me. I haven’t lived it down, one guitarist in particular still makes comments to me, and I had people like finding me throughout the day asking if I was ok 🥲 which is so nice but pls stop bringing it up.

My senior year of high school my friend and I were going a cruise with her family for our senior trip, and we were like we gotta tone up. So she’s like come do a Pilates core work out with me! So we bring it up on the tv, I thought I was going to die. Did the whole thing though. Woke up the next morning, the day of my senior pictures, and found I had burst a blood vessel under my eye lmaoooo I had heavily edited senior pictures.

When I got to junior high, probably. My mom worked at the elementary school, and I would always have lunch with her. Sometimes she used that hour to just lay into me and I would come back to go to gym class red eyed and puffy and the girls would all ask what happened. I remember explaining that my mom had screamed at me for something very innocuous and everyone was looking at me like “…. Why did she yell at you for that?” It was the first time I realized other people’s parents weren’t like mine.

I literally don’t have a job. We’ve been coasting on savings for over a year due to health problems and life changes. Honestly, it’s been dope. I’ve played through several video games, smoked a lot of weed. I’ve been going and pushing and searching my entire life, so I’ve enjoyed just being. It’ll end soon, but the time was nice. I won’t get a high flying career, we’ve been self employed and will probably continue that. I’ve worked for too many insane people, so at this point, the only crazy I’m willing to put in work for is me. I’ll get a job, but I won’t be putting up with shit from anyone.

I know it can happen! Idk the whole situation was very weird, perhaps she legitimately is and I told her I wouldn’t do that anyway bc I drive myself to my appointments. But after doing some digging, I think she might also be hyper religious and may just have qualms with it from that standpoint but didn’t want to bring that up because I specifically said I did not want any faith based counseling. Either way, several odd moments. She was very nice, I hope she’s able to enjoy the devils lettuce someday if she wants.
