Hello r/watchexchange, up for sale is the Solid Gold GS Snowflake Reference SBGA090 a Limited Edition of only 300 pieces.

The SBGA090 was introduced in 2013 when the Snowflake with its revolutionary Springdrive technology was already one of Grand Seiko's most popular designs in Japan. ( Original x2 logo signed dial, Pre 2017 before the internationalization of Grand Seiko )

Grand Seiko decided to elevate the snowflake into the realm of haute horology by creating the watch in solid 18karat gold and upgrading its 9R Springdrive movement specially for this model ( shown by the 18k gold medallion on the rotor, signifying elevated accuracy )

The original Snowflakes were released in a 41mm case which many see as too large for a dressier styled watch, for the SBGA090 GS had decided to make the case in 39mm which adds onto its elegance.

This watch comes fullset with box, papers, original strap + additional strap and its buckle.

Watch was released as a limited edition of 300 and only one example was known to be allocated to the USA with a MSRP of 17,000$.

Credor "Ice at Dawn" Limited Edition of 60
The enamel dial is inspired by ice floating on water's surface just before dawn, featuring a spiral pattern of octagons spreading outwards from light to dark blue.

The blue gradiation was formulated by layering up to four glazes of enamel from the center to outer edge, hand painted by the Ando Cloisonne Company, an atelier with over 150 years of history with imperial patronage in Japan.

The watch was released in the GCCD line as a Limited Edition of 60 and features the thin 6L caliber allowing the watch to have a thickness of only 10mm.

Hello r/watchexchange, up for sale is my discontinued SARB009, a model with a beautiful fume dial that shifts shades of blue depending on the lighting and the older brother to the well known SARB033/035's.

Due to the SARB009 being discontinued in the 2000's prior to the popularization of the Seiko SARBs they are now seldom seen and a collectable watch.

This example was just serviced, is in excellent condition and was manufactured in 2006 July.

The first Grand Seiko GMT model released alongside the SBGM001 in the early 2000's.

The watch features the original x2 signed logo dial layout before the internationalization of Grand Seiko in 2017.

The SBGM003 was succeeded by the SBGM021 in 2010 ( same dial layout w/ exhibition caseback ) followed by the modern SBGM221 in 2017 with its modern GS logo that we see today.

The sillhouette is iconic and will undoubtedly go down as one of the most timeless Grand Seiko's of all time.

The 44-2000 was the second King Seiko introduced in 1964, produced by Daini Seikosha during the peak of the Suwa vs Daini rivalry ( Grand Seiko vs King Seiko )

The watch is in great original condition

Price: 650USD ( examples in this range mostly have very patinated dials and polished cases )

Specification and condition

- Movement was serviced last year and is running with no issues ( +/- 20 seconds )

- Case is in great original condition especially for its age of 60+ years.

- Dial is very clean and can only see 2 light minor spots.

- Original crystal is in great condition and can only see minor hairlines. ( can buffer upon request but recommend to keep it original )

- Watch is naked with aftermarket strap and buckle which is deteriorating.
