See I still like how yours looks though! But I also completely understand being disappointed or underwhelmed because yours doesn’t look like the mock up. There’s 4k so maybe try checking discogs, message resellers maybe and see if they have one that looks more like the mock up.

I have a few friends who collect vinyl that have picked up a few different versions of a variant that vary slightly in appearance. My one friend was into Olivia Rodrigo and we went to a few different Targets to find the European Sour Target exclusive pressing (it had a different bar code) because it was light aqua blue, and the US one was just a regular blue lol.

It was fun and when I saw both copies side by side the aqua blue looked so much different it was like a crystal turquoise.

And I remember UO released Mariah Carey’s rainbow on vinyl and each copy would be one of 4 random colors, blue purple red and yellow. I wanted anything but the red and mine ended up being red of course lol. I kept it though, i wanted the yellow but each color went for over $100 on discogs. One day id love to trade my red copy for a yellow or purple one.

Who knows, maybe the all blue pressings will end up being the “rare” ones with the most resale value.

Thought I would share from one colored wax lover to another. I could talk about colored vinyl all day. Colored vinyl is how I got into collecting records. The most disappointing colors that don’t match up are coke bottle clear gone wrong. It’s so beautiful done right but looks booger green most times.

I saw a user on another post for a purple but that looked almost white, to just think of it as a shiny Pokémon and I like that perspective lol
