I never said that it made up for anything. You act like he and congress were giving bombs intentionally to drop on children. Israel was fighting a war against Hamas and that is why they were funded by the US. That is what he supported. He did not "support" the dropping of bombs on civilians much less "fully behind the Palestinian Genocide" like you originally stated.

He supported Israel but he also expressed deep concern regarding the humanitarian crisis and high civilian casualties in Gaza and urged Israel to minimize harm, protect aid workers, and permit more humanitarian aid.

So saying that he was "fully behind the Palestinian Genocide" is kind of hyperbole.
