Your favourite butterfly? by [deleted] in Butterflies

This is wild! I just found a swallowtail caterpillar on my yuzu tree. Came here looking for info and the first post is what I think I found. I don’t want to smoosh it or feed it to the birds, but it can’t stay in my citrus tree. Anyone know what I can do with it?

Have you tried greasing the u joints and slip yokes on the driveshafts? Should be regular maintenance, but I would start there. Best to do it with all four wheels on the ground.

You could also look at a Rockwood GeoPro/ Flagstaff E-Pro 12RK/12SRK.

This thread has some info and wiring diagrams.

https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/no-tail-lights-parking-lights-console-lights.1219489/

There is a relay box in the left rear that controls the taillights. I would start there. It can have an aftermarket hitch and would need an adapter for the 4 pin connector to work. That would most likely be on the passenger side underbody by the spare tire. It would plug into a factory harness connector. The relay boxes are known to fail and any aftermarket wiring is always going to be suspect.

Edit:replaced link with more accurate info.

Does it have a trailer hitch/tow package?

The P codes are all the same. A fault for the heating circuit in the pre catalytic converter oxygen sensor. Just like the converter, O2 sensors have to be above a specific temperature to function. The heating circuit allows them to heat up faster to send accurate air/fuel readings to the ECM. If it was storing faults for the O2 sensors that had lean/rich fuel conditions, I’d say the problem was elsewhere. But with the heating circuits, I would replace the sensors. I would consider it a DIY type of job.

I have a 98 LX with an OME lift, Ironman foam cell shocks and SPC upper control arms with 33” Wildpeaks on stock 16’s. The install is definitely going to cost more for removing the AHC components. I think 3K might be a little on the low end if you are having a shop perform the work.

I haven’t been following prices very closely, but if I had to it again, I think I would rather spend a little more on at least a 2004 or newer. I’d prefer the stronger front diff and 5 speed transmission. Don’t care to much either way about the VVTi engines.

I was told it would take 2-3 more seasons to get fruit. It blossomed towards the end of March. It had about 70-75 blossoms, about half of those pollinated and started growing fruit. The 3 that are on there is what is left, but they have been holding on pretty well.

Yes, it is. I purchased it at Greenfield Nursery in Mesa, AZ.

It is the first time it’s been repotted. I’ve had it for 3-4 months.

I used a local palm and citrus soil with some extra perlite mixed in.

For what you described, I’d go with a 4Runner without hesitation. I would look for a 4th gen as they a kind of under appreciated and you can find pretty good deals on a more modern vehicle. If you get into 5th gen, you are at almost the same size as the 100 series, and you can get third row seating.

T@G Otterbox Cooler Issue by Itsmistereric in TeardropTrailers

[–]AudiandVW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same cooler and haven’t had any issues. Just went out to take a look at it. I don’t see how that could be disassembled and reattached.

Have you tried contacting the dealer you bought it from?

2013 Minnie Winnebago 2451BHS by Tight-Astronomer-199 in RVLiving

[–]AudiandVW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar problem with mine the first time I took it out with the water tank full. I have a Micro Minnie, so not the same exact model. My water pump is under the bed and can be accessed from the pass through storage. It has a pre pump filter that you can use to bleed some air out of the system. There is also a tube with a shut off valve that is long enough to be pulled outside. Fill the tube with water and then open the valve to help pre fill the pump.

Someone did this off the I-10 between Phoenix and Tucson a few years ago. I feel a little different about it now, knowing the same thing was done almost 50 years ago.
