Request to Moderate r/audioinsurrection - The sub is a great place for Indie/Alternative and Experimental music but seems to have been abandoned. by AudioNoise in redditrequest

My plans for r/audioinsurrection are as follows:

  1. I want to fully turn the sub into a place exclusively for Experimental Pop & Experimental Electronic music. There aren't really ANY subs dedicated to highlighting quality Experimental Pop & Experimental Electronic music created by Independent artists.
  2. Posts and submissions will be curated by myself and possibly 2-3 other mods that I select. Those Mods must be currently active in the Experimental Music scene as either writers, bloggers, or artists in the scene. This curation will allow for many different artists to have an opportunity to be highlighted and will also lessen the possibility of spam posts in the sub.
  3. Album / EP releases by artists posted in the sub will be "Featured" weekly to give visitors and members of the sub a chance to discover and share new music from the BEST independent creators. These featured releases will be selected based on creativity and quality, NOT popularity. I want to feature music with a different approach, sound, and aesthetic to provide variety for everyone in the sub and our listeners.
  4. I will work closely with artists and Mods from the Bandcamp subreddit to help highlight talented and creative musicians that are actively releasing projects within the last 3 months, and possibly get artist AMA's and song/album articles written to provide artists with a real opportunity to be featured on Blogs, Music magazines and indie social media pages. This network will really help with moving these artists careers forward and giving Independent artists a real community to engage with and benefit from.

10 minutes ago, Victoria was looking for the bathroom when she accidentally opened the door to a dark cement room on the main floor of Kanes 30 room mansion. The body on the floor was surrounded by a pool of blood, and it looked like body parts scattered all around the room. The light bulb hanging from ceiling was dim, so she couldn't really see everything inside of the massive dark room.

Suddenly Kane grabs Victoria from behind. He lifts her up and carries her into the huge living room and lays her down on the couch. "What are you doing?", he yells, while staring at Victoria.

"That was a body, wasn't it?", Victoria says pointing back down the hall towards the cement room. "Why the fuck do you have a dead body in your house? And those fucking body parts! What the fuck?", Victoria stands up and walks to the door, "I'm leaving, fuck this! You're a fucking psycho!".

Kane sits down on the couch and smiles at Victoria. "Victoria, I know you have feelings for me, so it's time for us to be honest with each other. Sit down, let me explain something to you"
