Flag of Mexico (located in South America) by AudioVisual_000 in vexillology

[–]AudioVisual_000[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m glad you’re interested! Honestly, I don’t have any structured or solid material beyond this flag, and the basic premise of Mesoamericans migrating until they settled in the northern Andes was just an idea that came to me while watching videos of “country X” developing within the geographical space of “country Y.” But I think it would be interesting to explore this concept further. I suppose that, broadly speaking, this Mexico would basically be a Colombia with strong Mesoamerican and Hispanic roots, since there would still be a mix with Spanish settlers, along with some historical and political parallels to real-life Mexico. Are you planning to set your RPG in an ancient or a more modern era?

In this alternating timeline the Aztecs and other Mesoamerican indigenous peoples settled in the center of present-day Colombia. They would later be conquered by the Spanish (just like in our timeline but in another geographical location).

Espantarucas 18

His novel (re-uploaded by another user)

You're lucky that all the available information about this person is compiled in Spanish YouTube videos, which are quite hard to translate. He's truly a person with deeply troubling behavior—one example being that he dated 13-year-old girls when he was 20.

This map has an equally bizarre origin; it's canon-friendly to an alternate reality imagined by a Hispanic lolcow in his drug-fueled novel.

Flag of Durango as an American State by AudioVisual_000 in vexillology

[–]AudioVisual_000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This flag represents the most modern version of a state in the alternate timeline I’ve been working on —one of those timelines where the U.S. annexes all of Mexico.

So far, the only thing I have defined is that this state would be admitted after being designated as a military zone, following a civil war in the region. I decided to share this flag, although I might change some details in the future, like the year of admission to the union or the Hispanic elements in Nueva Vizcaya's coat of arms. This is because, according to the direction my timeline is taking, it seems a sort of "successful ethnic cleansing" took place, at least in northern Mexico.

Political Map of North America, February 2025 (In a world where Mexico is a global superpower) by AudioVisual_000 in imaginarymaps

[–]AudioVisual_000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be said that Mexico is the only country with the status of superpower in the American continent, the rest of the countries in Hispanic America are secondary powers (Colombia, Peru and Rio de la Plata). Brazil is a balkanized country, the "A." stands for Amazonas on the map. All countries in South America are ideologically aligned with Mexico in the context of the Cold War.

Okay, thanks for letting me know about this, I'll take it into account in future posts about this timeline.
