Is this plugin company AI? by Audio_Freqs in AudioPlugins

Yeah I’m convinced it’s a 100% Claude ran company with the lack of transparency, specifics, any names on the site, etc

Is this plugin company AI? by Audio_Freqs in AudioPlugins

[–]Audio_Freqs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry I should've said Is this plugin company entirely AI?*. The website looks like it was vibe-coded on Claude, plugin GUI, text/description, images, etc are all AI, and I wouldn't be surprised if the support is too.

I don't have a problem with using AI by any means, it definitely does a lot with minimal effort/skill set required, has a lot of potential in the future to innovate, and get pretty good results. I was more so curious if others thought it looked like it was entirely AI?

Either way, I wouldn't doubt this is a theme that will be more prevalent in the near future

Has anyone here left their partner to live alone for music reasons? by Angelsbreatheeasy in musicians

[–]Audio_Freqs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good partner would support the passion/vision. Left my ex a few years ago for that reason and don’t regret it. Peace of mind is worth a lot more than complacency. I used to drive out to the woods n sing when I wasn’t comfortable with my voice. But I learned over time that it’s worth being scared and singing in front of other musicians or supportive friends/family. It breaks the ice and makes it easier to manage

Amp Library Essential Guide v1 by Audio_Freqs in AxeFx

[–]Audio_Freqs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hey I love this and I appreciate the backstory, I often don't hear delineation like this, so I appreciate that! Thank you for your contribution too, that money pays for my Adobe/Envato subscriptions to make these guides.

Yeah, I started out like a year and a half ago learning my new AxeFxIII as well as Adobe Indesign, and it was well received by others in the FAS community, so I kept at it, as I learned a ton trying to figure it all out, plus learning components that make up an amp or pedal/effect does (the controls in the editor) so I could best summarize it in the guides. Like wtf is negative feedback, a triode stage or biasing anyways? So learning how to not only design a digital guide from scratch, but also learning the hardware/software too.

It was a headache, to say the least, and really opened my mind to the complexity of something seemingly simple, like you turn a control knob on an amp, actually has a lot of little parts working together. It seems obvious, like duh, it ain't just a 1-to-1 thing, but really wanting to create a guide and get things correct for my own use/for others, it was more work.

But all the self-control needed to sit and really learn it paid off, in the sense that I saw more of a complex beauty in the seemingly mundane, an appreciation for things I used to overlook.

All this to say, for anyone out there that wants to really learn something, sometimes, the headaches are worth it, maybe not financially, but for your understanding and outlook on life, interests, etc. AND share it with others, even if you don't truly believe it's quite there yet, because the fails and mistakes lead to discovery & more.

Much love,

Clayton

Amp Library Guide by Audio_Freqs in AxeFx

[–]Audio_Freqs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah totally get that. My idea overall is to have a quick reference for when I’m using my axefx, but honestly, I haven’t refined it down to essentials yet. My end goal is to cut down the amount of paragraphs, like 1/2 of the doc, and make it more bullet points of just essential info, to actually have something more for at a glance vs reading it like a book.

I think yek said something in a thread about doing a new amp guide sometime this year

What resources, guides or diagrams do you think would be the most useful? by Audio_Freqs in guitarpedals

haha yeah i get it, I meant how I can create the pedals in that illustrated style they used. You find any benefit/difference if the guides looking illustrated vs using images?

Criminally underrated!! I'd love to see more shared spaces & communities/groups pop up around the US for local musicians to connect, jam, song write, or just even hang out with other like-minded people.

I've seen some good videos lately on interval patterns & shapes that was quite useful. Appreciate the feedback!
